Least you probably watched it I had to go to my gf's lil sis party, I could only follow on here. Think the party put me off kids even more.
nah I thought I'd be nice for once, the only football I saw was the first half of the Stoke game.(if you can call it that)
Did Lambert get both the assists today? It says on Sky Sports that he has 4 assists this season. Which, if the two today are his, would mean he only had 2 all season before that which I find very hard to believe.
1 was Rodriguez. Lambert and Rodriguez are both on 8 assists for the season on Fantasy football . Puncheon 6, Lallana 5, Ramirez 4. Stats sites are a bit harsh with assists. You don't get one for winning a penalty or free kick leading to a goal, you don't get one for a shot leading to a rebound or causing an own goal. They have Lambert on 5, Rodriguez 5, Lallana 5, Ramirez 3, Clyne 3.
Ok thanks guys. Would have been surprised if Lambert did just have the 4 assists this season. Glad to see that's just the statisticians being scroungy.
Assists can be quite hard to define. Rickie creates a ton of chances though. Far more than anyone else on the team.
Yeah. There was a stat before we played Chelsea saying that Lambert has created more chances in open play than any player in the league other than Suarez and David Silva.

Still the case I think. He's definitely the most creative Englishman from open play (it's Baines if you include set pieces).
No. As the pundits said at the time, a perfectly good goal. Only criticism was the keeper bottled it.
I'd be really happy, even as a neutral, to see that goal given. All the physicality is being slowly taken out of the game by the overprotective legislators. Also Federici should have got the ball anyway, but he was a coward.
When you think about the kick in the head Boruc took in the call of duty, it must be disappointing for Reading fans to see their keeper wimp out on one.
