We should have won this comfortably. Davies and Tiendalli at fault for the first goal and Ash makes his usual ruck up against Norwich. All week I've been reading Laudrup saying that we had to deny Norwich set piece opportunities and Ash duly obliges with one. What is it with him and Norwich? He was tetchy all game and Holt wasn't even starting. Just as well because Holt owns him. On the subject of that fat git, how on earth he wasn't red carded is beyond me. Seems that referees have selective vision and their own version of the rules when we play. Not sour grapes but Norwich were dirty today and didn't deserve anything from this game. I still have the same old gripe about our midfield. Where is the urgency? Where is the aggression? I hope to God we recruit someone who's got a bit of drive and spirit about him, not to mention a bit of nasty thrown in. Two weeks running we've been fouled from pillar to post. I can't tell you how much I yearn for a Ferrie Bodde type. They must be out there and let's hope that Michael Laudrup finds one. Still, a point is a point and the lads did well under adverse circumstances. If Michu had had his shooting boots on we could have scored four or more. But I'm not getting at the lad, he's done wonders for us and he still scored even on an off day. Could well have been two actually but the referee thought otherwise. Where have I heard that before?
Totally agree with you Ivor, racked Chico down the shins, even the Sky lads said he should have had a red card or at least a yellow and what does he get, bloody nothing!!
Norwich are so ****e and always get the rub of the green against us. So frustrating to not get the deserved 3 points against such a typically mediocre british-style championship side
Worst Norwich side I've seen and we couldn't beat them. Our midfield was ****e and I am surprised Ivor isn't giving JDG another roasting. Too many players jogging. Our counter attacks were too slow. Dyer sleeping too often instead of making runs. Misses in front of goal. On the bright side - an away point that breaks the run of defeats.
very true Ivor, and I've been on their board and told them what a dirty fat pair, Snodgrass and Holt are! Went down like a dose of salts...........
Come on guys, it wasn't all one way traffic with the decisions. We could have had a penalty for a push in the box in the first half. DeGuzman could have seen red for a 100% cynical foul outside the box. Tiendalli did his best to feign a knee injury when tackled around the ankles - just one of many over-the-top reactions to tackles. The game could have ended up 5-5, 5-6, 6-5 but let's not pretend that only one side was the victim of poor officials
FFS Phil, read the thread after the Holt tackle! No-one has defended him. He should have gone off and no-one is denying that. He is a liability and we are all saying it. He does not deserve to play for us again - okay? Snodgrass tackles hard, but he is not dirty. A bit like Stuart Pearce.
Nope! It's late here and bed is calling. Night night Swans and see you next season to hopefully continue our good run in the PL against Wales finest
should have been a definate yellow but chico did not do us any favors with his over the top play acting. that could have influenced the refs decision not to award a red...

Well dont that just prove a lot of fans concerns about laudrups ability.. If he thought it was fair then im a dutch uncle......show some abilities ffs laudrup, we lost 3 points there against a team everyone is beating at the moment....well that comment takes the biscuit...
