For arguments sake let's say 6 teams go down, or 3 teams go down but players don't want to stay at the other 3 clubs. Everyone is going for less than they should.

    Who would you take?

    West Ham:
Green, Spence, Gabbidon, Tomkins, Bridge, Spector, Parker, Hitzlsperger, Collison, Piquionne, Cole, Ba, Hines, Boffin, Upson, Sears, Da Costa, Noble, Dyer, Kurucz, Stanislas, O'Neil.

Wigan: Al Habsi, Boyce, Gary Caldwell, Alcaraz, Figueroa, Diame, McCarthy, Moses, Watson, N'Zogbia, Rodallega, McArthur, Sammon, Kirkland, Gohouri, Di Santo, Gomez.

Blackpool: Gilks, Eardley, Evatt, Baptiste, Crainey, Southern, Adam, Cathcart, Vaughan, Taylor-Fletcher, Ormerod, Campbell, Puncheon, Beattie, Kingson, Harewood, Phillips, Reid.

Birmingham: Bowyer, Jiranek, Parnaby, Bentley, Dann, Martins, Hleb, McFadden, Taylor, Valles, Zigic, Foster, Carr, Johnson, Davies, Beausejour, Larsson, Ferguson, Phillips, Derbyshire, Doyle, Fahey, Mutch, Asante.

Blackburn: Grella, Nelsen, Robinson, P Jones, Samba, Andrews, Givet, Salgado, J Jones, Dunn, Emerton, Nzonzi, Olsson, Hoilett, Pedersen, Roberts, Bunn, Benjani, Santa Cruz, Kalinic.

Wolves: Doyle, Edwards, Zubar, Hennessy, Foley, Mancienne, Craddock, Elokobi, Guedioura, Jarvis, Henry, O'Hara, Hunt, Ward, Fletcher, Hahnemann, Stearman, Ebanks-Blake, Berra, Milijas.

Personally out of all those I'd take:
Phil Jones (8m): First team/Squad possibly.
    N'Zogbia (8m): Backup winger.

Although I can see a fair few names in that list who would walk straight into the squads of say West Brom, Bolton or Villa. Mid table sides.

I would hope for better to be honest. Maybe Parker and N'Zogbia at a push. Cruz on the bench perhaps.

I don't think any of them would get into the first 11, but some would make some good squad players.

Phil Jones: A promising English prospect.
Scott Parker: A good player to have in your squad.
Kevin Doyle: A good back-up striker to have.

    Wouldn't take anybody else.

Kevin Doyle has looked as good as he has at Wolves, he would be far better in a good side. He will add to the side somethng we haven't got, someone excellent at holding up the ball on his own and bringing in midfielders. He is one of the most underrated players in the prem right now.
Cole would also be better in a better side, he gave United a torrid time when the hammers ended up losing 2 4 but that was hardly Coles fault, you want him in and around the area running at defenders though he has failed to live up to his early potential. For a fair sum I wouldn't mind him rpelacing N'Gog

parker, Remember Gary McCallister, came in at a very late stage in his career and like Parker seemed to get better with age, Parker has been very good this season. For little or nothing it is a no lose deal with bringing him in. Remember this guy was having a very promising career indeed until he went to moneybags Chelsea and ended up on th epile as it were and it ruined his career imo

Kenny please pick up Kevin Doyle!

I don't suppose you lot picking Doyle has anything to do with him previously playing for Cork City does it? ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if Kenny went for Doyle.
I'll tell you why,I was in the Aviva Stadium for the Republic of Ireland vs Argentina game, and Kenny was in one of the VIP boxes scouting Kevin Doyle,He didn't play. But I do think Kenny likes him.

Word on the street KPR is that the King is looking at a certain Shane Long AND either looking at or already agreed a deal for (depending on who you believe) Mr James McCarthy. Wouldn't mind either of them actually tbf, but would prefer McCarthy, seems to have more of a pedigree for top flight footy and could be viewed as a long term Gerrard? I guess Long would be purely for backup. Being Irish, I'm biased and would like both, but realistically and with a view to breaking the top 4 again (and more), I'd still go for McCarthy. :emoticon-0150-hands :emoticon-0100-smile

It all depends on whether Reading get promoted.I reckon Kenny will go in for Long if they aren't promoted.Being a 4th choice striker at Liverpool is surely better than being in the championship.I reckon if we could sign him,he would take Ngogs place.

Shane Long needs to get his head right, there is a reason he is at reading. he can be very good, reminds me of Robbie Keane, could be brilliant, got him his move to Inter, but as with Keane he can be as bad as he can be good.

Doyle is a more complete player, long is still "out there" as it were, still not known if he can be consistently productive. Doyle would be a god addition and he can play accross the front like Suarez and Kuyt, good header, can shoot can hold it up and can pass.
