Ramsey just put in a good shout for miss of the century. Think Parker's except it didn't get a deflection he just missed.

    No, you will

Everton are decent but average away from Goodison. United are top. Fulham and Newcastle both average

Two of those were away though and none of those teams are in as good a form now as they were then.

Generally speaking Arsenal don't drop silly points at home to sides they shouldn't like Spurs and Chelsea. Chelsea have lost at home to QPR and squandered a 2 goal lead at home so Saints. Spurs have lost at home to Wigan and Fulham.

All of us drop points when we're not expected to. If we were more consistent we wouldn't be in this situation, whether they were away or not it doesn't matter, you said they were good at beating average sides and that's what they have left to play and I disagreed on both counts.

Another bloody West Brom 'keeper helping Arsenal along the way again <grr>

All I'm saying is, if I had to place by life savings on one of us beating QPR/Reading/Wigan at home my money would be on Arsenal. If I had to place my life savings on one of us beating United/City/Liverpool at home my money would be on Chelsea/Spurs.

So where's the advantage then? The tougher should suit us better anyway by your logic.

Terrible pen. West Brom back in it though. 20 minutes with 10 men, time for Arsenal to show and prove.

Damn, West Brom had some great chances to level it but Mertesacker's idiocy hasn't cost them today. Ohwell, we have to get the job done tomorrow but I think we already knew that.

I was just thinking, "Why do West Brom have to work so hard to make me hate them?" One more time giving all the points to Arsenal in a crucial late season game when there's no way they shouldn't pick up a draw. Missed three open goals playing against 10 men. Didn't start Lukaku, easily their best player. To be fair, the refs haven't done anything to earn my love either. The penalty they finally called was probably the third West Brom deserved. I never knew a keeper was allowed to land a right hook on an opposing player with such force that it raises a huge welt instantly, but apparently that's perfectly hunky-dory.
