To be fair Fosse, Malky has a much better squad than Bruce, by some way as well for me, alot of which he inherited. Don't get me wrong he's a very good Manager just arguing Bruce's case.
I think Simpson's vs Wolves was the best, purely because most of the Ground thought the pass was too hard and the goal came as a sort of surprise. It just came outta nothing really and from an almost impossible angle. Although Aluko vs 'Pool would come a close 2nd.
I asked Proud Fox on our board; "BTW. Considering we are now 14 points above Leicester (and you're only 13 points above the drop zone) are you going to be sporting enough to admit Hull City is the better team and Bruce has been the better manager?" He conveniently declined to answer, so I was wondering whether after all the banter between us this season there are any Leicester fans who are willing to accept the truth of the above question?
What are you on about? Schmeichel is the best 'keeper in the league, Morgan is the best defender, Knockaert is the best midfielder, Wood & Nugent the best strike partnership , Nige the best manager and Leicester are the best team. That's why they're 7th and closer (points wise) to relegation than us.
Ahh, don't be too harsh on 'em. If I'm being honest, I thought Leicester would finish above us in the League this Season. It's just not panned out as anybody expected really. Where's TC? He'd be on here claiming that Millwall are the best thing since sliced bread, Danny ****tu is the best defender the League has ever seen and every team in the Top 6 doesn't deserve to be there at all. That's worse than the Leicester predictions because Leicester at least have/had the ability to finish in the Top 6 unlike Millwall 'one man wonder' FC.
Agreed ... and thanks for the compliments ... I like to think of us as the Holland of the Championship ... arguably the most talented individuals but not necessarily the best team ... but in answer to the question being posed ... don't think you can ever argue with final league positions in terms of the 'best team' - best manager is more subjective ... and I take Mike Hull's point on that ...
To get back to task Nick Proschwitz will score 30 goals in the Premier League next season. I may put a cheeky fiver on it
You think? I'd say the Netherlands team is fairly poor at the minute. Their defence is weak, Ron Vlaar is the second most capped defender in their most recent squad. Their midfield is fairly average and then they have a few attacking threats. Robben, Van Persie and perhaps van der vaart are the only stand-out players I can think of. On paper, I'd say England have a better squad, starting XI and individuals, I doubt the likes of Vlaar, De Guzman & Kuyt (just to name some that people will know of) would get in our squad.
... my post was laced with a generous dollop of irony ... in terms of your response however, I would only have an issue with your view on De Guzman - I've actually seen him play a couple of times this season whilst down at the in-laws - he'd get in ANY championsip side - the Swans will definitely be looking to get him permanently in the close season ... his impact is not as 'visible' as Michu's has been obviously, but no less important - he is a tremendous athlete and has added the energy and competitiveness to them at both ends of the park - he's exactly what we are missing currently LOL ...
Can't agree with that. Huntelaar, Stekelenburg, van der Wiel, Sneijder, Affelay, Elia, de Jong... They've got a lot of very talented players.
They do have lots of talent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hull_City_A.F.C. You can take the crest (for your new avatar) from the one in the top right. It will look lovely!
