That's good - so you stayed out of the hay? I turn 60 this year, life a bit stale in that department and sometimes I've thought about freshening things up, but after 26 years of marriage & 5 kids I've never acted on those impulses. Too bad the racecard doesn't go to 69, as I would have chosen that one for my missus!
What has been going on here? I may need a few minutes to catch up guys, but that is a fantastic offer IwasanotherwatfordR. Very kind of you. Are you happy with non board members potentially winning your tickets mate?
Just to be clear....I think someone suggested that we should start to choose numbers for family and the like as we had so many horses left. If anyone objects to my lad having a number it can be put back in. (He doesn't even know about it yet!)
When Roller's away...... please log in to view this image .....finglas will play (giving away the crown jewels).
I've no problem with Col Jr or Nathan being included, they both go to more matches than I do and are cracking lads. Wives (who I'm assuming don't go to the matches and probably hate QPR because of the useless wreck it turns their husbands into on an all too regular basis) I'm not so sure about. What do others think, and especially Iwas..... as it is your fantastic prize?
My father was raised in London and often talked about Kilburn. My grandfather, born in Paddington, was a lifelong R, as was dad and now I assume that curse! As a boy in the 1920's dad lived on Bradiston Rd, then moved to Fernhead Rd, but I believe my grandparents retired on Evelyn Ave, which could be Kilburn - I remember visiting there as a young boy in the 1950's and recall being impressed by a peach tree (with fruit) growing in their small backyard. Believe it was terraced housing with parking on the street.
That is such as good set up line ...... I've got two punchlines, but I'll resist. I think you will probably be in luck as we do need to allocate all the horses.
when I first met her we was in the championship under Gigi, she used to love the Saturday away days ! we don't do it as much these days as my work gets in the way but some nice memories there none the less!
I'm quite happy to withdraw number 25 as the missus is not a Q.P.R. fan and used to go to York City games (now a Man Utd fan).
We have a beer over here to match your avatar. Not bad, drank it draft for first time at lunch today - buy a 6 bottle pack and you get a complimentary beer mug. please log in to view this image
Can I have a number for each of my 5 kids. Two are season ticket holders, 1 has a shirt, hat and scarf (though in pink) and the twins each have one of the free flags from last season !!!! Worth a try
