Luckily enough I didn't play it with sound! I think I've heard the guy who does it though, pretty sure he's just a random City fan cause I'm sure there was a competition for it.
If I had to pick one of those, it'd definitely 100% be Proschwitz. My personal fave this season was Quinn vs Bolton on his debut. Don't know why.
For the Finish it has to be Nick Proschwitz goal @ Orient. BUT............ For the move and finish it would be IMO the Aluko goal @ Bristol City. Evans and Boyds goals were good but not goo enough.
Still 6 games to go, why have the competition this early? Out of those for me it's either B,C or Prossy.
My vote goes for E... simply because of the fact it was against Leeds. Serious vote says B and H; just simply because of the passes involved in them.
the through ball is the best bit of boyd's goal. for me there's no technique involved he smashed it on the run and prayed. Not as much control and technique as proschwitzeseses or koren's
Because it's the Player of the Year awards dinner in two weeks time and they need get all the votes done and trophies made ahead of then. It's £1000 a table(of 10), if anyone fancies it?
3 in contention for me: Simpson v Wolves - just no right to score from that angle. Proschwitz v Orient - That's what he's capable of - Great set up and finish from Nick. Boyd v Hudds - Finish every bit as good as the pass from Simpson, sparkling pass and finish. Agree with how much we've missed Aluko. How far ahead would we have been had we had a proven goal scorer available from the first game? We have made do with a make do and mend front line all season!
It's a tough one that, so many great goals for different reasons. Evans v Leeds has the best assist with a tidy finish. Koren's is arguably the best finish, but the fact it was assisted by a very poor Cardiff clearance hinders it somewhat. Proschwitz's is the other arguably best finish, but in similar vein to Koren's the chance to score like that came about by a god awful donkey like first touch. But the best goal of the lot has to be Aluko's against Bristol just for every part of it, the link up play leading to it so effortless and brilliant, cutting Bristols defence to confetti in a way you'd expect from the likes of Barcelona rather than a championship side, and the finish just beautifully placed and curled into the bottom corner.
Agree with all of that, I love that Aluko goal at Bristol, we've really missed him the second half of the season.
