The way things are looking for you boys you'll not have to worry about challenging that record for a long, long time as you sit mired in mediocrity with shrinking gates and fewer and fewer marketable players to bail out your losses. Still as long as you've got the glory years of the 70's and 80's to keep you entertained during your trips to ill-supported grounds in the Championship and League 1 I'm sure you'll be happy. Next season we'll have premier league status, zero external debt, an £8m striker coming on board and a pile of cash in the bank to strengthen even further.
