    Massively proud of the lads. All of them gave a terrific performance. Yes Santon and Saylor let us down in those two moments but we gave a great account of ourselves against a European heavyweight.

    The fans were unbelieveable too.

    Overall pleased with the lads. Santon no idea what he was thinking. Taylor anyone can handle the ball what I cant stand when he does a Bette Davis pretending he got hit in the privates. We have to get SJP jumping next week and we might just do it.

    All goals were avoidable. Unlucky to have not got more, on top for significant periods. Benfica deserved their win but not by that margin. Can see them scoring awway- which was always going to make or break this tie for you.

    Let's see what happens agst Fulham first.

    A win and we should go full blast in the 2nd leg.

    A draw and we rest our main men for the Mackems.

    A defeat means we are right in it and the 2nd leg has to be sacrificed, i.e. play the squad/fringe players.
