Proper football back on Saturday All we need to do is win our remaining London Derbies (against Fulham and Spurs) and hope Everton can draw against either Arsenal or Spurs then top 4 is ours. 7 points would be insurmountable for either with just a few games left. Swansea could deliver a hammer blow to Spurs on Saturday which would virtually end their top 4 chances with Arsenal likely to beat Reading at home. All in our hands and I hope we don't blow it.
Liverpool and MU away will be our big tests! All things being equal we should be favourites in the rest! COYB!
There's surely no way he'll make the Everton game at least. The postponement of our game with them is possibly looking better for them than us at this stage, I thought it would be the opposite. If Bale is out for the season I can't see them getting top 4, think it will be hard enough as it is.
I just wished we'd not conceded today as we'd have been able to put out 2nd string against them next week to be ready for Tottenham.
Game won't be till May now mate, postponed due to the FA Cup Semi. The referee cost us, gifted Rubin a goal, they could have been there all night otherwise and wouldn't have scored, infuriating stuff. Luckily the game is in Moscow where Kazan have a poor record, so it's virtually neutral venue.
Defoe as well, and possibly Lennon I think they are the beginning to run out of steam, less games they have now the better. Take out the Southampton game where we played the reserves and Chelsea seem to be getting better as the season progresses, same with Arsenal. If Arsenal beat WBA on Saturday they must surely fancy their chances of 4th at least.
I thought Arsenal would a few weeks back, jammy ****s. Only reason being that they've only got the top four to fight for!!
I was never sure with Arsenal simply because they seem to respond well in the face of adversity. Normally goes tits up for them when they expect to succeed, they've also got the experience. If Arsenal don't make top 4, they will look back to that poor first half against us at the Bridge (both games actually).
