err......lets not forget how last season they were bleating about our one man team and BANKING on RVP getting injured so i wont cry any tears for their ACTUAL one man team . Dish it out , better be able to take it.
Here's hoping Bale's OK, never nice to see an ankle give out like that, even if it is Bale. Would have preferred to beat the Spuds to 3rd place whilst they had a fully fit Bale, it would be more of an achievement.
if we do manage to overhaul them , this excuse would be as good as the next , its irrelevant. They will always find one...... all teams have injuries... no team can reasonably use that as an excuse. if the squad is strong enough its not a problem . unbelievable that some spurs fans are already saying " thats our season over " on their board. If one player is that important to your team , you aint doing something right.
It was just not Bale that got injured for Spurs tonight. Lennon also went off with an injury and without him they lack balance and they do not have anybody to replace him.
Spurs have very few wingers as it is. Without Bale and Lennon who will they play on the wings? Dempsey and Sigurdsson? They're better in the middle. Spurs will have no width at all. Adebayor playing instead of Defoe will add to their lack of pace. This could very easily be the end of their season.
It's not ideal for them because they've got such a tough run of games coming up. In the games against big teams, you need match-winners like Bale. If he's still not fit for the matches against Chelsea and Man City, it's not looking good. However, it means absolutely nothing if we don't win our matches.
I said a month ago Stoke could go down. Next 2 games are Man U at home and QPR away. 0/6 if you ask me. Wigan win tomorrow and they are really in the ****, although if QPR can go on a run, they might drag Stoke into it. QPR can be within 5 points of them if they win their next 2.
Agree with that, an astonishing goal. Would love to see Stoke get relegated, and it just might happen this season.
Spurs vs Everton is massive game and I can't predict the result. Everton are in decent form in the league after winning their last three league games, but they are going to be without Fellaini and Pienaar. While Spurs are going to miss Bale and Lennon.
