Y don't we just agree that language is ****stantly evolving and use are all write? This forum is surely no place for prescriptive grammarians.

Also, remember the bit I said we'd come back to? Urban dictionary is a repository for slang but even though "it's not slang" it's in a repository for slang? Shot yourself in the foot there eh?

In the use of proper English grammar and spelling I think it is wholly proper to correct the mistakes of others. It's a public service to do so. Ya ****.

Arguing over the spelling of onomatopoeic and/or slang words is a bit silly though <laugh>

It seems you are the one who is having difficulty in reading. Awh is not a word, nor is it SLANG for anything. It is a made up word employed solely by you and the dullard who wrote that laughable definition.

I think he was on about a Chinese Bus. Chinese folks on seeing the approach of the bus would cry "Ce re Brus".

I see, you are suggesting that perhaps he should add his own definition?

    Sounds like a good idea.

A new word or phrase entering into common usage. There have been loads of them recently because of increased technology and social networking. Had you heard of memes a few years back for instance?

The only comics worth reading were Commando comics, perhaps Warlord, and 2000AD when none of yer pals were looking.
