This United team should be getting credit / premier league

There's always a chance that the big signing may go wrong, some good comparisons above but more often than not if a club does it's homework then the right player is brought in.

It is the gelling of the players. Some of the players in the top teams including United were not necessarily top stars before but became integral to the great team when they somehow fitted in.

I feel there is still more to come from this United team. Maybe next year will be our year...

And SAF generally does do his homework. Which is why we've often managed to get superior players (or at least players who've delivered at a superior level) at a lower price. With more money we'd probably have won more, but then we've never had an owner willing to spunk it up the wall in the way they have at Real, City and Chelsea, so that was never really an option.

You need to get a proven top quality player who is guaranteed to fit in the system. These are few and far between. The Messis, Ronaldos, xavi are not going to be easy to get hold of. Anybody else will be a punt. RVP was one.
