A question--which your wise comment has already mentioned, but which deserves to be amplified--Why the **** do I need to spread it around more? I ****ing well prefer to ****ing give rep to the ****ing people I ****ing want to give it to. Why are we forced to be rep sluts--as you so aptly point out YV? My ****ing wife doesn't ****ing tell me I ****ing need to ****ing spread it around more when we're ****ing ****ing, why in ****ing hell should a ****ing web ****ing page?

It was that Astroturf****** mouser chap, he didn't like me pointing out the fact that the mousers have the highest paid manager in the league, Kennel Dogleash as they are still forking out £10M a year for him.
A time limit would be a better way of stopping people over repping but it seems to be a case of simply not letting you rep someone again if you haven't repped enough other people in between. The vast majority of users don't seem to really care too much about rep but the trouble is the ones that do are all regulars so they don't want to upset them by getting rid of it. It's annoying as when not abused the system's quite good but I just suggest ignoring it. Just as I ignore Piskie or COYG disliking every comment I make on the Gooner board, I ignore the neg repping bores too and use the repping and like/dislike as I please. At the end of the day, it's only the internet.
a way to deal with it is to look out for one another on here and spread it around amongst ourselves. The rep power is a great idea as certain posters deserve to have that status due to the effort that goes into their posts. - Like me for example But it doesn't work at the moment and there's too many flaws, so we just have to help one another out.
I got neg repped twice in the space of half an hour by PISKIE one time, which makes the system even stupider. Of course, there should be an ability to disable the rep system for anyone who uses it solely to neg rep people...
I'm just playing the game YV but there is a certain injustice here, so I am fighting the fight, it's a hell of a lot better than invading Iraq.
