That's ****ing ridiculous. Clearly not in the same league in terms of seriousness, but what about Tevez's punishment for driving while banned? £1100 and 250 hours community service? We'd have been banged up for that. Heavy fine though
He's been given a life sentence with him to serve a minimum of fifteen years. Personally, I think he should have been given a manslaughter charge for each of the six children meaning he would never get out! What's a life sentence nowadays, about twenty five years? His mrs and friend have been given seventeen years for manslaughter too.
It should have been 10 years for each child, to run consecutively imo mate. They went dogging within 24 hrs of the event.......defies belief.

They weren't exactly being raised by him! He was claiming the money but hardly ever saw them apparently. The sister to a lad I know has kids with him, she was only fifteen and still in school at the time (no, I don't of him other than what I've seen in the media)
That was kind of the point wasn't it? He was trying to frame the mother for arson in attempt to gain custody. In turn, this would have enabled him to continue claiming benefits. The women that got seventeen years is his partner rather than their mother isn't it? PS...I could be wrong here, not read much about it
What kind of a society have we created were a man thinks it's a cracking idea to set his house on fire, with his kids upstairs, in order to try & frame his ex - kills his 6 kids with that idiotic action & then with 24 hrs is out fulfilling some sordid fantasy with the mother of the kids? He must have had no remorse whatsoever, it's like "sad that, yeah....oh well, fancy getting lashed & sucking me mate off?" I hope they rot in the pits of hell.
