    Morning Class

So, this is what we know so far. Former player and under-18 coach Richard Naylor will assist Neil Redfearn in first team duties whilst Leigh Bromby will take charge of the under-18 side.

Naylor has just led the youth team to the League title and he is enjoying his first season in coaching following his retirement from the game last season. Redfearn was appointed caretaker boss on Monday following the departure of Warnock and the pair will take charge of first team matters whilst the club find a successor to Warnock.

With Naylor helping Redfearn, Leigh Bromby will take charge of the under-18 side. Bromby is currently sidelined after rupturing his patella tendon in the final away game of last season at Cardiff City. The 32-year-old will now lead the under-18 side in the play-offs as they try to win the overall league championship.

Is it me, or has Warnock got an awful lot to say, even now he has left ER? He took a swipe at Hughes, has spoken to the papers saying that McDermott and Poyet would be good choices to take the hot seat and has indicated that he has one more managerial position left in him. Haven't we heard that before. Maybe he has scribs.... <laugh>

It will be good to get Poleon back. Maybe some first team football has done him good. Can anyone see him and Ross up front together, or is it still too soon?

Should we continue with Dawson in the starting XI until the end of the season giving him 55-60 minutes per week to blood him in for the new season?

I wonder whether Hall will start for us on Saturday instead of the woeful Varney. He should not play for the first team again, squad player at best.

Morning all. I suppose the blooding of the youngsters can start whenever we get the final three points needed for safety so much will depend o how many games that will take. Worryingly Parkin deal now in doubt as his wealthy investor has pulled out. Not much point in him trying to takeover without a substantial backer. Lucky Bates was such a ****er or this new crowd would look bad eh

Morning all. Getting Poleon back is a good move. Maybe a front 3 of Poleon, Morison & Ross. Nothing to lose and Charlton won't be the hardest game ever or the most intimidating atmosphere of the season. A good opportunity to blood some young talent in advance of next season. And yes, Dawson certainly should start. I would also like to see Hall get at least half an hour, maybe in a 442 formation with him providing much needed width

Saturday is the start of the long march towards promotion. Keep the faith people. This is the cup half full site. So let's keep it that way.

If that's true Ya Bad, about 'kin' time too. Ashdown is our future & did well in the cup competitions. Time for him to start in league games and for Kenny to go and enjoy an early retirement, decent keep though he is. Now his big bro's gone, his days have to be numbered.

Ashdown worries me. He pushes alot of shots back out but hes our best back up keeper since Robbo/Martyn IMO

Kennys a great shot stopper but I'm still pissed off that he got away with swearing at the kop like he did.

Looks like we will be in the market again for another keeper next season, may as well only offer him a year deal! <laugh>

I dont rate kenny, think he doesn't save a lot he should. He saves a fair few from close range but that would be the only positive for me. Other than that I think Ashdown is a much better keeper in every way, Kenny was a waste of money IMO and I've been saying it all season

I disagree, I don't think he is as good a shot stopper. He's so short that if the ball is more than two feet away from his position its a goal

He works the angles very well. His height tends to keep him on his line, but thats the only disadvantage I can think of. I honestly rate him as a shot stopper and without him I dread to think what our point tally could be right now!
