ISTPLT and Newland Tiger - I take it you feel it is key to read the posts thoroughly before questioning their validity?
I'm not going to go back 5 pages to find your original post so we can have a boring argument all night like you do with Dutch. I wouldn't have questioned the bit about you not going to the game if I didn't feel there was good reason to. Right now I can't even remember what your point was.
It wouldn't be so hard, don't you think you should? Or do you just post for argument? I thought better of you than that, but hey ho. As for Dutch, he proved my point, move on; this one's yours. P.S. It's a 3 page thread
If you can be arsed to repost your original one on this page I'll see it and respond but I aren't trawling back through however many pages it is.
It was 1 pages before this one, what's your problem? If you don't want a response, don't use a question mark. You don't need to respond, I stated my case fairly and without being snide; it would have been decent if you could have done the same.
Haha, OK. That was a bit ridiculous of me. I confused this thread with the nepotism one which has ballooned by about 6 pages overnight. My bad. You said: "We lost because we weren't good enough to win and Watford were." (The match stats say otherwise) ...and... "Stockdale had a good game and made at least one fine save." (He only made one save all game and it was decent at best, though that's not to say he didn't play well, he just had nothing to do.) That's what I objected to you posting without having seen the game. You also said 'perhaps the difference was that they took their chance and we did not'. I agree that this indeed is certainly one reason why they won last night.
Im noy quite sure what youre saying here? Of course wed have scored 2 or 3, they wouldnt have a keeper, my point is despite all our shots we didnt have any really good chances apart from Boyds, which was a good save from the keeper.
Except for deflecting disappointment, the only match stat that mattered was 0-1 to Watford. The stats of the two goalies were not so far removed from each other to be game turning; it was our lack of ability to take our chances in front of goal. All of that has been a feature of our games for some time and attendance last night was not particularly relevant to what I wrote or how I specifically phrased it.
