I'll be going there looking for three points, and consequently I can see myself being slightly cheesed off if I walk out of the Mad Stad with just a point. But that's as far I think I'd go. I'm not sure I'd go as far as saying a draw would be disappointing result. Another point closer to survival, and one achieved away from home.

But yeah, considering that Reading are the weakest team in the league and a win would put oh so close to being safe, then we have to be looking for three points. And if both teams play like we have generally been playing in recent weeks, then I'm confident that we'll get them.

As for the XI, I'm actually tempted to stick with the same XI again. But Gaston and Lallana (if fit) are two top players.

 

Does anyone know if Boruc is fit for Saturday? SKD did well, but I'd still rather have Boruc between the sticks. On Echo website, there's a mention of Everton being interested in him.

I would assume he is ok. Being dizzy for a whole week sounds terrible. Hope to see some more of Lallana before the end of the season. And maybe a run out for Forren sometime.

 

I hope we sign him up and quick .

 

I just feel that after a dodgy start for Saints, his heart may not be engaged and he will be open to any PL offer. Hope I'm wrong. Eterna need to have their watch on display again.

 

Yes I can see why he would go , but MP has kept faith with him , just wonder about what wages he would be offered by another PL club . My head says he will go , heart says otherwise .

I reckon a big part of why this one hasn't been done yet is because the offer is either performance related, or on the basis that we are definitely in the Prem next year. Hope he signs though as I think he's been back to his best in recent weeks, and I can't think of a keeper with better current ability that we'd realistically sign this summer.
