Cheers chaps Always find them very hard to watch tbh. Brings back some awful memories for all of us who lived through that day. As critical as I've been of the beeb in recent years (rightly so) its good that they are putting this out.
Thats what it meant at the end. ****ing stinks!!! He gets to live it up with his pension paid by tax payers including the victims families contributions. Absolute ****ing disgrace. He should stripped of everything! #****

Whilst somewhat tortuous, it is still possible that action could be taken against Bettison as oe of the instigators of a cover -up which sanctioned illegal activity i.e. changing witness statements. If so then he commited an illegal act whilst still a serving officer. If that is the case then it may still be possible for his pension to be rescinded. it will be interesting to see just how tenaciously the law now pursues those that they now have in their sights.
