Thanks kindly to 'LeeUtd' from the Leeds board, this was posted in an ongoing thread, read it in full (it's a long one...) and tell me it doesn't give you a real ****ing buzz.

The man is eloquent, a little insane, but so incredibly genuine, natural and in touch with the world, it STAGGERS me that there has been such a witch hunt against him.

A legend Paolo, I ****ing love you already.

Aye, good cars the S-Type, I assume you bought a few years old, as used Jags are a STEAL!

On that subject, I'm selling a BMW 320i if anyone's looking, e46 1999, all the best options, I bought it for no apparent reason, we were debating putting a cage in it and slamming it about Croft, but it's too good for that so it's for sale as I haven't used it!

PM me for details! <whistle>

2005 29,000 genuine miles, FSH one owner (a mate.) been looked after brilliantly it spent more time in his garage than on the road.

He was looking to use it as a trade in on a new Merc and they were offering him coppers.

So I snatched his hand off for £5000 :)
It drives, feels and looks like new.

I was still tempted to go for the hairdressers SLK mind.
There was a couple going for very little, I was tempted to buy them both and keep one in my lockup for spares. :p

I decided on the luxury and comfort in the end.
And the bugger can't half move too, my insurance actually states no one under the age of thirty can drive it whilst I'm insured with them.

By the way what's the miles on the Beemer I know my mate was looking for one, but aint seen him in awhile.

I am ****ing outraged at the slagging he is getting after reading that. All the lazy press bastards and ****ers jumping on the band wagon need to be sent that so they can apologise to PDC but the total bullshit being written about him.

Journos write what their readers want and good research is the basis of an accurate article. Why let the truth get in the way of a story.

tremendous article, liked loads of it, particularly loved this bit :

He is a less volatile man now, Di Canio explains, partly through his study of Samurai culture.

"Pardon?"

"In the past few years I've become closer to that Japanese spiritual mentality."

"You've been studying the history of the Samurai?"

"Yes. I have read a lot. Mishima, obviously. And the spiritual teachings in the traditions of Hagakure, and Bushido."

"Why?"

"I like the code they lived by. The loyalty. The honour. There's a story about a Samurai who committed hara-kiri because he arrived late for an appointment."

I ask him about his fear of flying, a phobia he shares with Eric Cantona. "The thought of dying in a plane crash is so difficult because there's absolutely nothing you can do. And yet, according to the Samurai philosophy, there is always a chance that you can overcome a challenge. Let's say that you release some lions into this room."

"Oh, all right. How many?"

"A few. We're in England, so let's say three. Three English lions. Now, in the mind of a Samurai, there is always the possibility that you could beat them. Or at least do something. Like fight and die with honour. Die like a warrior. But what can I do on a plane that's crashing – fight the guy next to me? I'd rather take my chance with the lions."

Thats the mentality we need paolo

the man was a good footballer but no big club would touch him with a barge pole as a manager, im very surprised your bosses have agreed to have him except milliband who has sense and resigned because of the appointment....there is more importent issues to take into account than just say he is the right man for the job. His views are discusting and everyone saw his twisted fase of hatered and natzi salute he gave when at another club...what an insult to the veterans of sunderland and they are right to protest their views and the fans who wont set foot in the stadium again until he is gone...Its a shame that no good will come from appointing this man as a manager of a premiership team and hope your bosses see sense and stay away from anyone of his caliber...
