And hopes he destroys Leeds Utd.

http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...rnock-i-hope-hughes-destroys-leeds_77545.html

Recently-departed Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has issued an attack on Mark Hughes claiming that he hopes the coach "destroys" another one of his former clubs.

The 64-year-old, who parted company with Leeds on Monday night, insisted United were well placed to move forward on the back of his tenure (move any further backwards youre in big trouble).....

Shows exactly what he thinks of you guys <yikes>

Strange thing is Warnock was hopeless and still little or no worse than the last half dozen managers we've had. we must be long overdue a good one

If this is trying to say Mark Hughes is the same as Warnock, lets compare the quality of teams both managers have worked with:

Warnock:
1980–1981 Gainsborough Trinity
1981–1986 Burton Albion
1986–1989 Scarborough
1989–1993 Notts County
1993 Torquay United
1993–1995 Huddersfield Town
1995–1997 Plymouth Argyle
1997–1998 Oldham Athletic
1998–1999 Bury
1999–2007 Sheffield United
2007–2010 Crystal Palace
2010–2012 Queens Park Rangers
2012–2013 Leeds United

Mark Hughes:
1999–2004 Wales
2004–2008 Blackburn Rovers
2008–2009 Manchester City
2010–2011 Fulham
2012 Queens Park Rangers

Now, Warnock isn't Leeds manager anymore, and I don't want to stick up for him, but if this was your argument then it was a load of ****. Mark Hughes record should of been a lot higher than what it was, and Warnocks overall record is very good, all things considering. Granted a bit of a dinosaur now.

Hughes was unlucky to be sacked at Man City but failed at both Fulham and QPR. He would be an awful choice, not least for the obvious reasons.

You should have grabbed Adkins while you had the chance.

Agree with you on QPR but his only failure at Fulham was the way he engineered his departure.

"While there has been no contact so far with Hughes, it is believed the former Blackburn, Manchester City and Fulham boss would be interested in talking to Leeds."

Weak speculation at best (source - The Mirror).

worst manager I can ever remember at QPR

No, not my argument, just pointing out facts about the quality of managers. Few more stats for you.

Ferguson = 58.2% Win ratio
Martin O'Neill = 51.51% Win ration
Nigel Adkins = 50.91% Win ratio
Rafael Benitez = 50% Win ratio
Brian McDermott = 44.97% Win ratio
Gus Poyet= 44.09% Win ration
Owen Coyle = 41.99% Win ratio
Simon Grayson = 41.97% Win ratio
Paul Lambert = 41.48% Win ratio
Neil Warnock = 40.37% Win ratio
Huseless = 39.93% Win ratio

So neither Huseless or Warnock are good enough.

IMO Hughes is hit and miss. He seems to do great with some teams and then fails miserably with others. I don't think he'd be accepted as he's an ex scum player but we could do worse we could have Keane as manager
