Why no mention of Brighton's own fans chanting, "you're too ugly to be gay"? I think the whole thing is pretty pathetic, but, conversely, I also admit that homophobia is a bigger problem than racism in football. Where is its equivalent of the 'kick it out' campaign? PS. In the 2011/2012 season, the aggregate attendance in England's four professional leagues was 29-and-a-half million. There were just twenty-two arrests for 'racist or indecent chanting' (inc. homophobic chants). Mountains out of molehills.
I think the Kick it Out campaign is about education to eradicate all prejudices whether they are against race, sexuality or whether you are a wombat
Racist comments and shouts have taken place at KC and I remember seeing 2 black guys looking very uncomfortable.Never saw them again.Unfortunately the racist was back next week. The stewards are normally very vigourous in that part of the stadium re .behaviour. Conclusions:selective deafness;possible shared views,or the guy is a ploice informant being given a bit of leniency to improve his cred with the nutters
Anyone with an ounce of common sense will realise it wasn't serious, but I confess to having my doubts about some of the posters on here
ha ha ha ha hilarious. I also wanna know which one of ours did that. Their fans are pathetic and need to give their heads a wobble!!
**** me that's brilliant. Where the hell did that bit about the player rubbing his arse come from and also the Kazim-Richards one? Do they genuinely believe those things happened and were intended taunts to them? What footballer would give a **** about the sexuality of the Brighton fans and go out of his way to taunt them for no reason Some of that is just hilarious. It's almost Partridge-esque. Quoting Birmingham fans as chanting "Go home you gayers" is my personal favourite.
If it were an anti-black chant to a black player then yes. If it were asking a white Bradford player if he knew where to get a good curry from after the game would it be acted on though?
Credit to the Forest fans: "You only sing when you're bumming" is my favourite. Given this has come from the Daily Mail I love how they've tried to pretend it's a serious story whereas really all they wanted to do was find an excuse to print all the chants.
