Afternoon all. I didn't get chance to get on here yesterday. I was off work as my girls were coming over for a DVD fest. However, I've noticed (how could you not) a plethora of threads and comments on other threads regarding people being banned, unbanned and allusions to over-zealous modding etc. I'd just like to say that it is possible for us and you to get on in harmony and I can prove it. Swarbs was down visiting family at Easter. However, he arranged to come over and see me on Monday evening. After taking in the heady delights of Stockton Heath, we repaired to the legendary Cheese to take part in the weekly quiz. There are usually only two teams involved of about 8 people on each team. Swarbs and I took them on in partnership. We went under the joint team name of 'Schrodinger's Cats', due to our love of all things physics. Despite both the other teams resorting to some nasty 'Googling' tactics, the Cats romped home to victory in style and complete accord. This demonstrates that it is possible for Scouse and Manc alike to work together for the benefit of humankind. I thank you. Let's all have a big hug. That includes you BBF PS. If you're looking for quiz team members, old fourdicksdave, is the font of all knowledge, dead clever him, an expert on virtually every subject known to man & Jimmy clubfoot would be worth a shout, albeit his knowledge range is a bit narrow - well the history of cheese & onion crisps from '76 onwards to be precise
Our board is **** at the minute and the only time it gets busy is when we're taking the piss out of the LFC board. Can't Matth just be allowed back on, at least one thread every now and again generated some interest on this board. #BringBackMatth

I put this on the Liverpool version of this thread: One of my best friends (not you Swarbs) is a Man Utd fan and have many other friends that support them too. I also know lots of Liverpool fans and, of course, various other teams too. Would I argue and bicker with them based on the team they support? No! Would we have a bit of banter? Sure. Would we be able to discuss football more seriously should we choose? Absolutely. I treat this board exactly the same. Each poster is an individual person and each person has their own opinions. I couldn't give a flying **** who you support, I am here to talk football and have a laugh! That is it!
I have nothing against matth, I only banned him for peace on our board (he was being attacked for getting Ze and Hash demoted) but there are far too many that object to him now, and it goes beyond the Liverpool and Man Utd boards too. At last count (before site ban) he was banned from Chelsea, Newcastle and Arsenal boards too
He's funny but simply posts too many threads on other boards as long as he stopped doing that he would be fine.
