I had a weird dream last night with Poch in and him and I were protecting Suarez who in turn was a guinea pig?! Explain that!!
A MASSIVE, MASSIVE game for you lot. Win and you are looking very safe. Lose and you could be dragged right back into the relegation scramble.
Nice try, but it's hardly a massive game. Since some of the teams below us are playing each other and some others are playing top half sides they are likely to lose to, if we lose we might drop two or three places, and we'd still probably be four points clear of the relegation zone.
I'd had 2 pints of Guiness and some soup with wensleydale cheese in. Suarez had to be protected at all costs (who was a guinea pg) and Poch fought off the villains with my assistance. It was very dramatic.
Reading will be hoping that we relax a bit but I can't see Poch taking his foot off the gas, he still has something to prove. Reading need to win obviously (and even if they do it probably won't help them much), whereas we are looking upwards now. But it will be tough for the boys to put in three high intensity performances in a row. It's tricky to predict anything other than a Saints win, so on that nonsensical basis I'll go for a good performance but a 2-2 draw.
What would Freud have to say about that? Would he say that you are worried Suarez might become extinct, like indeed the Guinea Pig now is, in its native habitat which is South America?
Interesting theory Ashby. I certainly was worried for Suarez, I think we even decided to get another guinea pig to put in his place (like a decoy) and hide the real Suarez pig in a secret location just in case the villains got through our defences. It was all very clever and very real. In any event the dream has inspired me to get a ticket for the Reading game - just got one of the last few on Reading FC's web site but in the home end so I'll have to mute my celebrations but I reckon there will be quite a few saints in there as it was the last block on sale.
Lets hope its all worth then Johnny. I am procrastinating about getting one myself - ticket that is, not a Guinea pig.
