All the media attention. We no longer are the main story, in fact we've not really been mentioned much this morning. Lets hope this is the end of it and we can concentrate on football.

Think it will drag on until the weekend mate, until the football takes over.

So long as there are no more attention seekers like David Fat Space Hopper, or Look at me everyone Milliband looking for one last go in the spotlight.

I won't forget the actions of these ****ers in a hurry either over this non story.

Quiet before the storm me thinks. Sunday will tell.

Everybody, the manager, team, fans, all on a downer before this happened. Solemn faces staring into pint glasses after every game. Short decided to take matters into his own hands, appoint somebody he believes fits in with his own vision for Safc. And now, even more than the appointment of O'Neill, were starting to see a fire burning in the fans again.

For him or against him, the appointment of Di Canio is stirring up a huge amount of passion. You can bet your last penny that the media will be more focused on Sunderland's next game than they will any CL club. If the players can't react to this, can't get fired up by this, then i'm sorry but they mustn't have normal human emotions. They should be running through brick walls like the ****ing incredible hulk next time they set foot on that pitch!

Ellis has played a blinder for me, the eye's of the world will be watching us. He's set the catalyst & for me the players have GOT to react, I predict where gonna see a team we didn't think we had over the next few weeks. For the first time in ages my mind & my heart is saying were stopping up.

Hope so but I doubt it.
We know what the media are like. I wouldn`t be surprised if they were more interested in PDC than what`s happening on the pitch. They`ll be waiting to pounce on anything for a while yet.
I suspect there`ll be a few cameras watching the crowd for nazi salutes etc. and no doubt there`ll be more than plenty fools ready to oblige.

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Henceforth Pardew's Black(-and white)-Shirts will meet equally well armed, and perhaps ****ting themselves a little bit under the shadow of the Stallion. Hence forth they will have to face in many theatres of war that superiority in the air which that inept halfwit Shola have so often used without mercy against us, of which they boasted all round the world, and which they intended to use as an instrument for convincing all other peoples that they believe they have a right to success, for they are deluded and sad individuals ...punish them we will, punish them without mercy.

We shall fight on the enemy's ground, we shall fight on the pitch that is their ground, we shall fight in the midfield and in the defence, we shall fight in their penalty area; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this great club or a large part of it were subjugated to terrible performances and starving of results, then our stadium beyond Wearside, armed and guarded by the Di Canio team, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

We are Sunderland, we are Sunderland, we are Sunderland!

They were talking about it on Talksport and "justifying" the questions asked in the conferences he has had! I would love someone to ask a journalist if they would question SAF's political/religious or sexual beliefs or David Moyes or Rafa Benitez (etc etc) and when they say no then ask them why?

I was talking to guys at golf this morning (1 a liverpool supporter and a staunce labour man) and they are all saying the media are way over the top and the criticism is unnecessary, why was there no problem when he played down south etc etc. Millieband has clearly been seen to be looking for a bit of publicity before he disappears into the ether of USA. We are not alone in finding this whole matter a media created frenzy.
My only worry may be some idiots trying to protest outrside or inside the ground at the first home game... I suspect our fans will not take something like that too calmly and could feed fuel on to the fire and make it all worse. Riots at the match etc... I only hope I'm being paranoid...but having listened to some of the a***holes spouting off, hopper, that idiot durham professor and that T*** McQuire of the Mirror ( a long term sunderland supporter who obviously takes after E millie as a back stabber), I wouldn't be surprised if they try to keep this brewing.

Let the legal team handle them & The Scum.
Two possible lawsuits & more cash in the coffers.

Isn't it interesting how the media only publish the dissenting voices?
I mean we all seem pretty much united on here now.
They're a bunch of ****s & I for one hope they get hung out to dry, wont hold my breath like.
They can put any spin on & print whatever they want, even if it is blatant lies.

The thing is, regardless of how he meant it to come out, people will judge based on their own perceptions. Newspapers (I use that term loosely) only care about one thing. Selling papers.

Personally, I think PDC is an idiot. Definitely not a racist (as is being implied in the papers). He would have said something racist by now if he were (that is how much of a buffoon I think he is). That said, all this press coverage certainly takes the heat off the players. You have to hope he can handle it. He does not seem to handle pressure well.

I reckon the media has said all they without him biting, which he clearly won't so there's nothing more to say.

I expect a few more equality groups to use our club as a platform to promote their organisation making themselves look foolish process.
