Afternoon all. I didn't get chance to get on here yesterday. I was off work as my girls were coming over for a DVD fest.

However, I've noticed (how could you not) a plethora of threads and comments on other threads regarding people being banned, unbanned and allusions to over-zealous modding etc. I'd just like to say that it is possible for us and you to get on in harmony and I can prove it.

Swarbs was down visiting family at Easter. However, he arranged to come over and see me on Monday evening. After taking in the heady delights of Stockton Heath, we repaired to the legendary Cheese to take part in the weekly quiz. There are usually only two teams involved of about 8 people on each team. Swarbs and I took them on in partnership. We went under the joint team name of 'Schrodinger's Cats', due to our love of all things physics.

Despite both the other teams resorting to some nasty 'Googling' tactics, the Cats romped home to victory in style and complete accord. This demonstrates that it is possible for Scouse and Manc alike to work together for the benefit of humankind. I thank you. <ok> Let's all have a big hug. That includes you BBF <laugh>

PS. I may get banned for this <doh>
 
So basically, you took this opportunity to let everyone know what you and Swarbs got up too... <whistle>

I didn't benefit. Now if you send me £20 I will have benefitted... can I expect money in the mail?
 
Just to answer the thread seriously though...


One of my best friends is a Man Utd fan and have many other friends that support them too. I also know lots of Liverpool fans and, of course, various other teams too.

Would I argue and bicker with them based on the team they support? No!

Would we have a bit of banter? Sure.

Would we be able to discuss football more seriously should we choose? Absolutely.

I treat this board exactly the same. Each poster is an individual person and each person has their own opinions. I couldn't give a flying **** who you support, I am here to talk football and have a laugh! That is it!

I take it the other 2 teams were either rat arsed or remedial?

Anyway, more importantly, did someone mention rep? I love the stuff, anyone got any red spare?
