Just logged out to have a look, the general consensus is EXACTLY as we've been saying. That those banned should remain so purely because they have the temerity to not agree with what's said on that board!! There's not even any disguising of it, it is simply that they can not handle anyone not going along with their silly little threads. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD has started yet another one about 'should we have Alonso back?' He's not ****ing coming back you halfwit. Ever. He plays for Real Madrid, why the **** would he? Anyway, back on topic, I would not mind if Sweats or me or whoever had actually been on there and mocked Hillsborough or whatever but it isn't even that, it's because we disagree and that is deemed to be WUMing. (I cringe even using the term WUM, me being an adult and all) Luv, Bluff, Zing, aren't you embarrassed by this?
haha, yes there's a definite inability to separate the weird concept of "a different opinion" & being there solely for the purpose of getting a rise out of them. When I first joined I was bombarded with abuse for being a 'wum' because I dared to post an opinion that challenged the view of the average myopic kopite. When I challenged them to point out where exactly I'd posted these 'wind ups', they said that I was a 'clever wum' & that I was posting sensible football posts with the intention of getting in a snide dig (seriously, I kid you not). When I pointed out that if I thought they were talking ****, I'd call them a **** (& had done) so I was hardly 'under cover', their argument was somewhat blunted.
He has said he wont sign a new contract. Nah, people are strange and have their own opinions. I try to be open minded and ask questions when I don't get something but I'm not so arrogant that I expect to change minds.
Just logged out to read that thread on the Liverpool forum (I'm banned as well). Some of the ones calling the loudest for bans are exactly the same ones going on other forums throwing round insults just for the sake of it. Talk about double standards.
The intellectual heavy weights, astroturfnaut & Jimmy Yewtree are now back slapping each other over their desire to keep the wums out, so that the 'debates' aren't ruined
When did he say that? Have only seen it reported in that bastion of truth and integrity the Mirror... Even if he doesn't sign, he has 12 months to go on his current deal, and Real have no need to sell him just to raise a few mill - they might as well just wait another season and see if a new manager can convince him to stay. Rafa to Real, anyone?
Welcome back matth.. Do what you want on our board. Don't think anyone will care if you do a thread for every united player since 1980. Just be careful on other boards, though I'm probably not the best person to give advise on that subject.
I've heard, don't worry, i've done a few threads alreay on United, especially about our fans on the Paddy Crerand show earlier.
