    Great evening....

    High spots:
    Superb Deeney Goal
Bond stopping shot on shot ... one brilliant save.

This was not a dirty game. How many bookings were there??

Hull set out their stall and we found it very hard to break out and keep possession.

We were lucky to last the Hull pressure.

If our passing had not been so wayward we might have done even better.

But clearly a massive result for us.....

Good luck Hull fans..... I hope we end up together in the Prem next season

... and now to bed :)

Wonderful gesture by the Watford players at the end to run over and give their shirts to the fans... Lad in front of us got Chalobah's shirt and was SO happy :)

The Premier league could do with 2 honest and well respect managers like Zola and Bruce!

    ;)

Not ones to blame others easily and would be well respected by the media.

    They'd probably love Holloway though.

Just got home. Absolutely cream crackered, my head is pounding and my voice is gone. But hell it was worth it!!!!! A scruffy, hard fought and ground out win which was on balance of things probably the right result. Now, I am off to sleep.

I know but he is good for a quote - him and Di Canio would create more headlines than the players themselves or the match itself.

Holloway used to be good for a quote, but now he just sounds so whiney and the victim every time things aren;t going his way - or making excuses just in case. He used to be funny, but now fed up of him, I must admit

Anyone listen to 5 Live last night? They were talking about the foreign loan rule, and suggested in the upcoming vote, that they're going to vote in favour of keeping the rule! Maybe chairmans are looking at a new opportunity they haven't thought of... I wouldn't be surprised if there are small tweaks to it - such as only so many from one club, but they seemed to think that it would stay!

Great goal by your lads to win the match. Thought you had the better of the first half and City likewise in the second. One moment of class decided the match, which can be said about most of the games in the Championship this season.
Six games to go and every one will have us on the edge of our seats. Preferable to the Premiership which was decided months ago.
    Agree about the managers.
Its not good for the old heart though is it?
    Good luck.

I was listening too and although managers (Holloway) don't like it, Chairmen are starting to look at our way of doing things and thinking "This could save me a pretty penny". Was glad both commentators were telling everyone to 'just get on with it'. Savage was quite un-bias last night and there was plenty of praise for young Mr Bond.

It's amazing the difference that the style of football makes. In the days of GT and Boothroyd we were long ball merchants who were killing the game and it would be a travesty if we made it to the top flight. Now we put together some fancy passes and everyone in the media's raving about us. Thank God there is controversy about the loan system or we'd be subject to the most sickening love in imaginable!

A couple of reflections that I stored from last night. At the end of the game Vydra sprinted from the dugout to give Deeney a hug. Sign of it being a team we have here and not inflated egos.

Private jet provided to transport the team. Luther wanted a lift as he would be back in 45 mins instead of 4 hours on the road. It actually made sense to get the players back by midnight rather than 3-4am. Get them into the training ground this morning where knocks and aching muscles can be treated has to be better than a long coach trip.

Really great commentary from Jon and Luther. Please can we have the two of them for every game now?

Didn't know about the private jet OFH, a nice touch from the owners. It shows the players that they are serious about looking after them. Could you image Baz doing that, he'd be more likely to organise National Express for the return journey via Glagow!!!

It may have escaped your attention, but for some years now, three teams get promoted - so the "We are going up chants" are not necessarily premature .;)

We have a harder run-in? Not from where I'm sitting. You have three potential banana skins in Cardiff, Wolves and Barnsley. We only have Cardiff.

But everyone said our loanees were just mercenries and wouldnt bond as a team or care about the club :)
Nice to see things like flying to long distance away games ,very professional!
Luther and Jon on HP till end of season ? Totally agree.
My god that game was nervewracking to listen to .
On to Cardiff on saturday on the telly dont know if I can take it lol , would be nice if they were reduced to 9 men and concede an injury time pen .
