Anyone who can defend that truly shambolic midfield performance would be better off supporting TWS or Newcastle where delusion is the main attribute.

I counted how many of his passes reached our players: 3. 3 passes completed in 70 ****ing minutes!!!

 

Koren & Boyd's passing was no better yet you only have a go at Bruce, at least he won the ball and battled in the middle of the park, you can't say that about the other bunch of puffs who'll happily see someone walk past them and think nothing of it.

 

Not slating Bruce, but Evans is a far better option IMO, he should have started today and he looked a far better player than Bruce when he came on!

 

Agreed add Elmo to the list of outright fannys too.

 

I can't understand why Bruce is selected, I think he can header better than Evans. But Evans can tackle AND pass, so he offers so much more. Evans, Quinn and Fahti should play against Boro.

 

Bruce was really poor tonight, he ruined a potential attack every time he got the ball by just twatting it up. People say he stops all these attacks but Evans does more defensively and offensively.

Decent centre half mind.

 

Slated koren and boyd in the other thread. Agree the whole midfield was useless but the 2 advanced midfielders need that platform to lay it off to while they find some space etc., they couldn't do that tonight because every time Bruce got the ball he just aimlessly whacked it as far down the pitch as he could.

Also defensively as a holding midfielder he was total cack, he just ran around aimlessly in circles chasing the ball like Craig ***an on crack and kept leaving a big gaping hole in the middle of our midfield.
