It is a really ****ing tough run in, I cant think of how it could be much tougher to be honest. I'd rather be facing top 8 teams than Ipswich, Barnsley and Wulfs any day. I honestly think our only easy game left is Cardiff cos they'll already be on the beach by then.
We didn't play for 70 minutes, midfield was shocking and completely non existent til Quinn and Evans came in. Boyd was awful in midfield but somehow just magically improved the second he moved upfront. They ran midfield and kept it simple and on the deck, koren kept trying through balls that kept getting intercepted, Bruce just hopelessly whacked it to their defence every time he got the ball as per usual, and Boyd just didn't do anything, just kept hanging on to the ball til he got tackled. We created a few half chances from set pieces but other than one outstanding reflex save their keeper only had routine saves to make. He did boss his area well though and hadn't he collected most our crosses we may have steered one in. They just defended for 90 minutes and did it bloody well, didn't give us a sniff of goal and when they did leave the slightest sight of goal, they harassed us and did enough to make us snatch at our shots and put us off. Credit where it's due, they won by playing football unlike forest who won by playing UFC.
I'll go for outside and chill for a bit but honestly this is far more disappointing than the bolton or palace games. I would have been delighted with a draw.
I know you're being sarcastic but I'm dead serious. We always **** things up against teams "we should be beating". and I'm not saying this is very hard, i expect a win v boro and bristol. But I'm not happy playing on form teams like wolves and barnsley that are fighting for survival. I'm really pissed off that we're doing this the hard way as always when we had a glorious opportunity for the first time in our history to create a big gap with 3rd place and control the rest of our challenge.
I cant believe we've lost 4 of our last 7 and are STILL 2nd. If we'd just done average - say 5 wins, a draw and a loss - we'd be home and dry by now.

Truth be told, I can't see leics winning any more games this season. Nip and tuck between us and Watford for 2nd, then Palace, Forest and Brighton. Bolton 7th. M'boro and leics look to have blown it.
We've not won in 10 (11 now?) and you're not as far ahead as you should be. Like I said. A decent team would walk this league.
