Seems to have gone again (Banned for how long ?) ... what trumped up charge this time? Good heavens lads a few on here should be ashamed of themselves if yet another collaboration has caused our mods to have to be seen to act. I have personally read some threatening language between posters at times and I am guessing because no complaint may have not been made then it's allowed. I am guessing again that someone and gang have chosen not to use the ignore button on Swords if they found remarks offensive. Sorry I see this matter as inconsistent and can't people just let things slide? because one is for sure he is not the worse offender on our forum IMO. I post a complete load of rubbish and i hold my hand up as it's no secret as I see this as entertainment. Far worse offenders on here IMO and they get away with all sorts. Swords doesn't complain officially when he is the victim I would wager and credit to him for that IMO Negative energy i feel for one of the best posters on here ... after all what is there to read ... Thought he was taking a breather but does appear to be banned, no idea what for, may have been something that happened on another teams board....leave it mate, he'll be back.
At the end of the day this is the net and I doubt anyone would use threatening behaviour face to face (unless you're built like a brick ****house).
I was quite upset regarding all the posts about racism and fascism when DiCanio was named as Sunderland's new manager. But I chose to ignore it. I am not condoning racism or fascism but I am sick to death of listening to the PC brigade who keep using the subject for their own gains.
I think it's something to do with him calling Cerny out about his dad playing the violin with underage dwarves.....at least that's what I think it's about. It'll all be forgotten soon enough.

Staines I don't recall reading anything about DiCanio's credentials for the job only about his personal biases. That's all and then it becomes a full blown debate on types of salutes and their origins and significances. I just thought FFS it's football not politics.

Good evening all Just to confirm that swords has received a two week ban for unprovoked and offensive comments directed at SR. Nobody on here needs to be lectured again on our house rules but it seems that Swords refuses to 'play the game'. Us Mods received a complaint and acted on it accordingly. Swords was given every opportunity to set the matter straight. He also refused to swallow his pride and apologise. Like all rules, ours are not perfect. Some of you see them as draconian, while others understand that they are a necessary evil. Swords had contributed very positively to the board over the last few months and had actually managed to stop deliberately provoking and antagonising our members. It's for this reason that he is only getting a two week ban and not a permanent one. DTs comments above about Swords are correct. In fairness to him, he never complains about other members. He seems to have no problem giving and taking abuse. While I have no doubt that he is an intelligent man he has not being clever in using the house rules. Live by the sword.................
Fair points Nuts Cerny I think you may have over reacted IMO and that takes the biscuit You are one jammy dodger who most on here know you are smiling about this latest drama which is bullshit Swords will be reading this certainly hope you get over soon mate I will buy you lunch anytime ...
