Yeah, depending on how busy the guy is he was going to ask me to talk about Cortese, Pochettino and what I think of Reading.

Think he's doing a series of views throughout the week.

Thought it was great, DTLW. Used to write myself and I thought it was well constructed and balanced.

Reading have lost 6 in a row! They need to 'defy the stars' to avoid defeat!

Form means a lot, and Reading's is atrocious.

Surely form has to have a blip somewhere, or perhaps even change?

This is rather Lawrensonian isn't it? They are due a win!

In the case of Reading, I think they're just about ready to lie down and die.

I reckon we'll dominate, miss a few chances, score one, then concede late on. 1-1 That wouldn't be the end of the world, well not for us anyway.

Excellent, well written read, as a Nigel fan I enjoyed that.

I had 3 very vivid dreams a few weeks back, one of which was that we would lose 1 - 0 to West Ham, 2 - 1 to Stoke which causes us to be relegated and that we lose 4 - 0 at Reading, my God I hope I 'm wrong. Realistically, I predict a 2 - 1 win to Saints

Was very much a Nigel fan myself, but equally I have taken to Pochettino and think he is probably a step up.

Of course, we cannot be definite on that as there is a long way to go and next season is likely to be the greatest measure of his impact.

I can actually see Lawro going for us for once, unless he decides that Reading are due a win. In his world, there is nothing like a run of losses to suggest you will get a win.

Anything is possible, we are Saints don't forget, they never do what you expect them to do, all sorts of things can creep in, red card for GK handling outside of the box, Spider getting 2 yellows for two tackles, Lambo seeing red for arguing the toss after the eighth consecutive foul has gone unpunished against him, there are endless posibilities, wouldn't it be nice to get a comfortable 2 0 win with nothing controversial to blame it on, but we don't do comfortable!
