Mackems have been in the premier league for the last 2 seasons , yet in our first season back in the league , we finish just one point behind them...

Yes well done youve finished above us for three seasons, well done, bear in mind this is one of the worst preiods I have watched NUFC for in my life time. Just because you finish above us by us slipping up, it does not mean that you are a bigger club. Far from ot, we are still head and shoulders above you by a long long way, this seasons results proved that even if we were the promoted team! I think I know who is telling the white lies. But enjoy it while you can you dont often finish above us...

The mackems are the fifth highest spending team in the league over the last five seasons yet are happy with 10th place and one point above us (the 20th highest spending team having just regained our premier league status).

Good to see they aim high.

The irony is that they are too stupid to realise just how badly they have performed this season!

Didnt realise the amount of goals Blackpool scored. Now they really were unlucky to go down.

 

Yep, Mackems have gotten 3 points more than they got last season, we got 2 points higher than they did last season. So we've gotten in the same brakcet as them in our first season up, and they took 4 years to get this far....

... AND they spent hundreds of millions to get there. How much did we spend....

I've been thinking this....their form after December was dreadful. Should have been relegation fodder.They are just fortunate that other teams had a poor start to the season, or else they'd have been in that scrap. They're only in 10th because of how tight the bloody league is, and their end of season form was **** aswell.

All in all, **** season for the Mackems

 

get real mate when Newcastle went down they kept a premiership team in the championship due to parachute payments.

 

wow. it's unbelievable at how so ****ing thick some people are.

We lost Bassong, Duff, Viduka and Owen. That's why we are now a premier league team, not ****ing parachute payments!

We got rid of the ****s, and built a good team spirit and gave fringe players a proper chance.

All the parachute payments and TV money went to Ashleys pie fund, not on players.
