Last night was a perfect example of our season to date. Comic book defending leaving us a mountain to climb, the seeds of a comeback, a golden opportunity spurned from the spot and when we get within touching distance we just can't get there.

If anything was more frustrating than the first half it was our dire play in the last 15-20 minutes where I don't recall a decent cross while Samba was upfront and all the misplaced passes when we needed to turn the screw. We simply aren't good enough...

To be honest,I'm glad it's pretty much over and I wont have to suffer through a third season in this league. Apart from a few moments of joy,the past two seasons has been a mix of frustration, depression, lack of excitment, passion and the worst of all,its the dashed hopes that really got to me.Isnt it supposed to be about enjoyment and entertainment?..both of which we have had very little of. Anyway, what can we do about it,but start again, carry on and I hate to say it but...hope!

I was thinking the same all day. It was like we were back playing under Mark first half and the second half what an improvement in the second half

It's the hope that wears you down!

Could not bear to listen to anymore after end of game but heard Harry this morning on way into work. Something along lines of 'worst two goals I've ever seen given away in a football game'. hard to disagree with.

Totally agree re the entertainment issue. I do hope we get some next season preferably with the occasional win!

    No point dwelling lads

Two away games both of which we deserved something and played in parts very very well ... That cannot be ignored and I awoke this morning knowing that we have enough to give any of our fixtures a good game

    Stand firm

Got my Wigan Tickets and one lad already saved his season ticket money for next season

    Bring it on

This is not over ... To quite Sexy Beast

    Where's there's a will there's a way and there's always a ****ing way

    This is still on

    I still believe

Was thinking exactly that on the tube home last night, bit more composure and they'd have managed to get something from it.

don't know why they put samba up front harry didn't like it & nothing came of it & changed our way of playing, sooooooo frustrating watching rangers nothing is done easily, its been a season from hell never seen anything like it & had so high hopes like most of us this season, be glad when its over & if its the championship then so be it, start again from fresh & enjoy unlike this season.

I just fail to comprehend the QPR in the first 45 and the QPR in the second. After 40 mins I was thinking it was all over and fairly so, if that was all they could muster. A half time bollocking (I assume) and then it's a different story. As said above, 90 minutes that has so perfectly mirrored our season.

Face facts, your priority should be a hands on coach. And not a geriatric, money spending

    The facts are

We only have one priority that is try and stay in this division ... other than that what's to worry about? We are an attractive West London club with a lot of money ... we will buy who we want when we want ... too many people with power and money will make Queens Park Rangers into a top flight established football team ... i admit we may have to wait longer but it will happen. You will see in the next 15 years a lot of investment into the London sides IMO simply because that is where the money is and will always be

I agree last night was a little microcosm of our season. We have players good enough to be comfortably in the top half of the table and yet we collapse so easily. When football teams are exposed to the unrelenting glare of PL media coverage weaknesses are obvious and become self-fulfilling. Our achilles heel both last season and this has been the inability to hold the ball under pressure. As soon as they saw how easily Swansea hustled us off the ball in game 1 the rest of the league followed suit and have played as high up the pitch as possible against us. Even though our formation is now much better than at the start of the season and the playing staff radically different this tactic still does for us more often than not.
