We got 4 points from 17 games under Hughes, we gave away 10 to 11 games on other teams, are you saying Redknapp wouldnt get enough points to make up the game if he had 10-11 games more to play than the rest.

We were saying Hughes relegated us before a new manager had even been appointed, this has nothing to do with redknapp.

I like what they said on LFW, bland flatpack club that have even given up their traditional colours, no one cares enough to hate them.

They are reaching Norwich status for me, purely based on the posters who come on here. But the bland bit fits like a glove.

I told them that before they were creaming their knickers about useless harry joining them......He is a crap manager who can talk a good game but dont have the skills to put it into practice.....If they stick with him for next season then league one will be their next step...

I don't get this over reaction your all having to the posters on here. There was only one wind up guy, & he went around full time, the rest have just been opinions. Even huismate is being rather subdued tonight.

The family looks inward for solace when times are bad. Outsiders whatever their intention, are not welcome. Surely you've been through enough **** times to realise this. You can read just about any thread on here to see how adept we are at attacking our own players, manager and each other, we don't need any help. Now piss off.

That's fair enough, and why I responded to your post and not the wums.

Whether you rate Redknapp or not (I don't personally) it would be silly to suggest he couldn't have kept QPR up

I dont think even Guardiola could have kept us up. Anyone in the bottom half would have been cut adrift if they have the start Hughes gave us. Anyone not in europe would be in a relegation spot if they took 4 points from the 1st 17 games.

Harry may not be brilliant but he is good enough to go to St Marys and get us 3 points.

A bit unfair to blame 'arry. If his avarage points taken had been throughout the season you would be between WBA and Swansea in the table.Hughes was the problem but I guess the posters who mention Fernandez and his lack of football knowledge are nearer the mark.'arry getting upset with the BBC reporter though shows he is seeing the writing on the wall.QPR need five wins and a draw now.A big ask.

The Southampton fans just don't like Redknapp. They were full of the joys of spring when he was first appointed because they felt they were getting one over on Portsmouth. Because he failed to keep them up and then failed to make them promotion challengers the following season disappointed them. Then going back to Pompey and calling it his "spiritual home" (or suchlike) didn't go down too well either. None of the fans will now accept that he tried to keep them up and some are daft enough to think he was some sort of Undercover Agent for the Blues, deliberately infiltrating St. Mary's to perform a bit of espionage. A bit paranoid, methinks.

Now I'm no fan of Sparkless Mark / Clueless Hughes and (I believe) rightly place a lot of the blame for our current predicament at his door. But I don't for a second believe that he didn't want success for both himself and the club. There's no reason to hate the man, just as there's little reason for Saints fans to loathe Redknapp. For them, it could easily have gone the other way. The fact that Rupert Lowe was at their helm at the time probably didn't help either, of course. Wasn't there suggestions of interference in Redknapp's management by Clive Woodward too? I forget... But so too possibly to Saints fans.

Their interest and gloating in the Rs current predicament is really down to the fact that our manager is Harry Redknapp. I, for one, would have no problem keeping him on for next season. But let's see what happens.

Only two reasons we're where we are. Firstly Hughes was utterly clueless as a manager - shows we should never employ an ex-Chelsea player as our manager. As has been said above very clearly, 4 points from 51 at the start of the season was death to us, despite how we have been playing recently.

And secondly, the players collectively have to hold their hands up and admit that they have massively underperformed, making basic errors and costing us points all through the season. Very, very few players can be exempted from this - and you don't stay up when that happens.

Agree mate, that's what I meant. If Harry had been in from the start there's simply no way you'd even have been in danger of the relegation zone. The problem under Hughes was more to do with man management, few could doubt the ability in the QPR side whereas Reading simply aren't good enough. Harry has united the dressing room and got the team playing collectively, the shape is much better and the interplay between M'Bia, Remy, Taarabt & Townsend at times was exceptional.

I completely understand why Southampton fans dislike Redknapp but they are allowing to shroud their judgement.
