Various rumours around but unless Martin O'Neil is sat waiting in the car park, how can any sensible club sack their manager when they are so near to the play-offs and so near to the end of the season? What would they expect a new manager to do now?

nothing to lose i suppose. 1 win in 11 games might as well sack him now as wait

you know this for sure? To be honest, I probably could nt give a buggery either way, but he is a good bloke and a good manager so it would be a shame

Meeting with the owners in the morning

    Rumour has it

It seems the players have turned on it

I wanted to ask on your board, but I can see there's a bit of prodding going on, but is there something specific that's gone on or just a culmination of things?

What ever my views on Pearson, if asked I've always argued he's steady, solid and consistent. Looks like I'm way off with that.

A strange one indeed Dutch, how our fortunes have changed so dramatically for the worse. Pearson puts it down to too many players being out of form together, not getting the rub of the green etc etc and a classic today apparently he said the high expectations the Leicester fans have is a hinderence!!!! what a cheek lol. If you have read our board you will know there has been a massive divide in opinion of pro/anti Pearson, but after todays debacle at Barnsley, a few more have joined the anti group! I fear that his time is up, but not sure it would be wise to bring someone in for 6 games... then again after 1 win in 11 we have nothing to lose. I believe if he is still manager after tomorrows "apparent" meeting with the owners, then they will keep him for the last 6 games.
We play Brighton away on Saturday, an absolute monster of a game in terms of importance, especially if they win tomorrow night (weds) which they should. Bolton should also win and bring them back into the mix.
    Squeaky bum time!

Do you think there any truth in those Pearson/Woods bust-up rumours? That incident would explain a lot.

You forgot dour, bland, unimaginative, paranoid and (perhaps most relevant at this moment in time) completely uninspiring!

6 games left though, you might get one of those little upturns that generally happens when a new manager starts. Could get you back into play off contention. Something must have happened internally as you don't go from league champion form to relegation fodder in a space of 10 games?

To be fair, the players need to looked at very long and very hard. But his comment about supporter expectation sums him up - pay him a shed full of dosh and expect nowt. Never liked him as a manager or his full-of-**** namesake who the owners saw through and binned. Pearsons should be parked and forgotten about.

Agreed with this. He had the easiest job in the world here when he had AP covering for him.

When the owners/fans actually have ambition he clearly can't hack it.

I doubt he'll work again, and he can't exactly fall back on a media career can he?

He might be able to write a Paul McKenna type book with accompanying CD to help people sleep.
