David Milliband has confirmed what I have personally thought about politicians for such a long time...namely They are self interested egotistical scum. DMV was vice chairmen and very knowledgable of what was going on behind the scenes for the last week. He wanted out anyway for his new lucrative job in New York...and surprise surprise he blames it all on that terrible man PDC...with not a thought for Ellis Short, the football club, and all of us!!

If there is one scumbag who should be vilified and seen for the manipulative two faced pariah he is it is David Milliband. This cub will be here long after pond life like you have departed.

    Good luck Paulo:)

Milliband is Jewish. Hardly surprising he doesn't want to be associated with someone who has fascist tendencies.

    It's Milliband's choice.

Milliband used us as a PR stunt to win over his constituency.

He was leaving politics so he found a reason to leave us.

    Simple really.

You know the best thing is I am not, just wanted to express the facts. I think that PDC is a passionate family man who is part of.a new exciting breed of managers, I think his interview today was great. As usual all the high level of chatter from our "neighbours" just shows how worried they are.

Ellis has made his gutsy decision for the future of the club, I sense a groundswell of support that may be truly amazing...just love this club...come on Paulo!!!

As a big David Miliband supporter I am deeply disappointed by the way he has used this to bail out of SAFC and tried to gander some political gain from it.

There is a foul stench of hypocrisy about a man who openly supported the Iraq war and who has defended that decision many times since, despite the evidence leading to it being proven to be severely corrupted, now finding some supposed moral high ground over a manager with right wing views.

Has democracy just died overnight and we have not been told? I have friends, close 30 year plus friends with massively different political ideals but I don't condemn them for them. Its what freedom of speech is all about. I still love them as people and value them as friends.

If Di Canio was openly spouting racist and fascist bile on a day to day basis, calling for mass rallies and marches against individuals and ethnic minorities, then he would not have been employed anywhere in football ever. The fact is he hasn't and this whole media frenzy is ****ing pissing me off something rotten now.

All this has done imo has made us resolute and bound us together and probably perversely worked in PDC's favour. He will have an enormous welcome and support now imo and what may have been a split camp before will be far more together and united.

Cest, Milliband is a politician, they are all the same mate.
Thieving ****ers whose philosophy is " do as we say, not as we do".

The fact that the only bars in Britain that still allow smoking are in the House Of Commons & the greedy bastards have subsidised beer too!

What pisses me off is that he knew Di Canio was sigining. He could have left when he got his new job in ny and then that would be it. Instead he waits until he comes and announces his departure publicly. He could have left and no ****er would have noticed anyway

Why did he do this? To portray himself as a moral person. Bullshit.

His stunt has blown this entire thing out of proportion. What an arse

Miliband has ****ed us over on this no doubt and has tarnished my feelings about him for good. If he hadn't made that sickeningly stupid statement to grab a few headlines (without any foundation it would seem) then this wouldn't have made any headlines at all. Thats a fact.

After all, he openly worshipped a bloke who was almost as right wing as Di Canio but wearing the false clothes of a Labour PM. Blair was just a Tory in red clothing anyway.

Di Canio has badly let himself down. He hasn't
Actually said 'I am not fascist'. Sadly he hasnt. GMB Union at Swindon
Are against PDC as are Durham Miners Association.
A get PDC out if the club campaign has over 3,000 members already.
Let's face it lads Mr Short has made an error of judgement. As soon as
This clown Di Canio leaves the better. I will be at Chelsea and hope to participate in
    Protests against PDC

Some sympathy on your general thrust but on your last point: Do you think that a Blair government would have implemented the current welfare cuts? As a small businessman I resent welfare freeloaders but in reality there are not that many of them, the majority are just like the rest of us,having a bit of a tough time.IDS and his pals spend as much on a bottle of wine with their dinner as the Job Seeker's Allowance for a week.

Although I think Millibands decision to jump ship is total crap on his part..he has just landed a cushy number in the states so good luck to him.
As for what he has done for the Club...I think he deserves a little credit for the sponsorship deal with Invest In Africa..I really think he pulled a few strings there...so for me, not all bad. But could have departed in a much more dignified way.

Yes. £400m per day deficit run up by Gordon Brown. You bet they'd be cutting. That excludes GB's off balance sheet PFI deals 'n all. All this "Tory toff" bollocks is just political rhetoric. This government may be useless, but if I hear another load of leftist apologist claptrap I shall find the perpetrator and I will kill them <grr>
