I suspect this is the case with a lot of the QPR players, hence the problem the club find themselves in. If they get relegated, they will have a lot of players on a lot of money that it could very well be difficult to shift. A case of money can buy you players but not necessarily a team.
Looks a good player. Wonder what his release clause is Could be an option if we can't get the lad from St Etienne. In reality I'm not sure you can go back after that kind debacle. There are plenty of players knocking about.
I think he's looked a decent player. He may have come across like Demba Ba and thought its a shot to nothing, if he looks good and the team goes down then he can go off somewhere else - I'm sure there'll be a release clause. I'd happily have him, he's a mercenary but so was Ba and I think you can carry the odd player like that so long as you have a team mostly made up of people who at least pretend to be loyal! Don't say anything too negative about him as I think he's here in the summer if/when QPR go down.
The difference was Cisse moved upwards to a better opportunity and club (for the same money apparently) and Remy chose relegation.
Say what you want about him being a Mercenary, when he plays games he scores goals. I'd maybe have him for a reasonable price. Doesn't seem like a bad person really, he just got fooled by £££ signs and saggy chops probably convincing him they were gonna stay up lol. Most players are Mercs to an extent really. He scores goals and that's what matters. Deadly finisher and great pace.
