First half we were completely out-classed and over-run in the midfield. Fair play, Harry went for an attacking formation, but it back-fired. Our central 2 were often out-numbered 5 to 2. As I hoped, Harry made a change in the 2nd half and got Remy into the middle. Also, by taking Hill off, the back four were able to squeeze much higher up the pitch, thus closing down all that midfield space. Remy is like a fish out of water on the right wing imo. Cesar - Looked constantly hesitant to me. Would prefer Green. Bosingwa - Did ok, but corners and crosses were poor and played Samba into a bit of trouble for the 2nd (although it was still Samba's terrible play that lost the goal). Hill - Sadly out-classed. Samba - Terrible, terrible day at the office and never once looked like winning a header at the other end. Looked like he hadn't played for months. Traore - Did ok. Some good, marauding runs down the left. Mbia - Our best player by a country mile. Covered every blade of grass and tackled, tackled and tackled again. Good through ball for Remy's goal. Jenas - Did ok, but was chasing shadows all first half. Townsend - Terrible in the 1st half with the touch of a donkey. Improved a bit in the 2nd. Taarabt - Blew hot and cold. Great goal. Should never have been taken off when we needed a goal from somewhere. Remy - Totally out of the game on the right and gave no support to Bosingwa defensively. Shame about that penalty!! Zamora - Apart from that one shot which produced an unbelievable save from Swarzer, he was a complete waste of space and should have gone off early in the 2nd. Subs: Hoilett - Did nothing. Onuoha - Gave speed and strength and allowed us to push higher up because of his pace. Mackie - Did nothing. Can't blame Harry for his attacking formation at the start, but a terrible decision to take Taarabt off and leave that cart-horse Zamora on. Over-all, I still have hope.....but it's fading fast.
And i did'nt cause you to come on here trying to be a clever clogs with what you think is a funny comment, so just go back to ya prawn sandwiches and leave us to lament our season without stupid remarks like the one you made.
Thaks for that Col. Maybe some are a bit away from how I saw it, but on the positive side really agree M'bia was a very clear MOM. The worse today was that for most of the game we didn't look a complete unit, it wasn't a good team performance, even though individual skills could have won it for us if not for the howlers.
Funny comment?! Why on earth would anyone including myself think that's funny? I was stating its over and wishing you lots good luck next year in the Championship? How is that funny? God you really don't do yourself any favours.
You're right that we don't look a team. We never have have we? MH started it all and left us with a team of mercenaries who don't care whether they're here or not. Relegation, a clear out and re-build with these same owners as the best we can probably hope for now mate. Pretty down tonight....really thought we were going to get at least a point when we scored the 2nd. Off to bed!
I'm not that of a deluded person. Just look at my first comment and tell me how I could get you riled up like this from that? All in your head you hoops.
Awarded 3 penalties all season = all missed! Why didn't Zamora take it. And as for their penalty. I though keepers were supposed to do homework on the opposition penalty taker. Sky nicely put a graphic up showing exactly where Berbatov has placed all his previous penalties and all but one were to the keepers left, so Cesar dives right!. If he dives left it would have been an easy save.
I'll piss off back to a guaranteed PL top 10 finish something QPR won't have for some time by the looks of it. Hahaha **** the dirty hoops!
Just another on a long list of assholes due a good f*****g slap.................................................. wish you were here so i could oblige.
It was clear from the start that the formation we played wasn't effective and Fulham were so on top in midfield they simply picked us apart without needing help from suicidal defending. We seem to have gone from ultra-defensive to over-the-top gung-ho, although the number of misplaced passes rendered us totally ineffective in the first half. Worse still was getting back into the game and continually failing to get any decent crosses in. Townsend was nullified by the defenders simply showing him outside onto his right which caused him to turn and pass back. Taarabt was ineffective apart from his goal and Hoilett and Mackie just wasted time. From the time we were up against ten men we hardly created a semi-chance allowing Fulham to time-waste the clock down. BE HONEST - WE DESERVE TO GO DOWN...
I am honest, we've been down since August, death by 38 cuts. I'd like it to be over now to be perfectly honest with you. The football has been grim, just ****ing grim.
do you want useless harry for your quest in the championship next season or do you want a proper up to date manager who will know what he is doing???...Harry must be the most overrated manager of all time, it know wonder he never lasts long at any club with his rubbish style of football....He talks the talk but cant walk the walk and qpr is just another money making machine for him.....
We'll deserve to go down if we finish in the bottom 3, not until then. At least we are scoring goals and providing some entertainment now, for those of you who have had us relegated since last November that has to be a plus.
