It's all in vain, we were undone by our own ineptitude in the first half.

 

We should have won easily, we gave them a 4 goal swing with 3 defensive errors and a missed pen.

A game that sums up Qpr's season. Useless, down & out, given hope, cocking it up when given the chance, given more hope, then not making the opposition pay when you have an advantage.

 

Thats that then. To be honest its been horrid and we can finally put this whole sorry season behind us and get on with next season.

 

I would have liked to have seen Townsend given 20 mins or so playing down the left. Would have given the two strikers something to attack.

 

Well done QPR. Once again you set yourself a massive mountain to climb within just 30 minutes. No you did not put in a good performance. For me you cant justify the wrong-doings of the first half by putting in a good second half performance, we deserve to go down.

FF'S well on top, then died off typical hoops, when was the last time we punished 10 men,
M'bia absolutely immense IMHO man of the match for me.
But as usual 1st half ineptitude costs us dearly.
But it aint over yet guys & gals.

 

So we are going to finish the season as we started it, comical defending and poor finishing

We had 52% possession and 21 shots against F's 9. Again stupid errors gave it away.

 

I thought we were in for a humiliation after 30 mins. It transpired that over the 90 mins we probably were the better team and deserved at least a point. Ultimately, true to form we left with **** all. Gutted, we should have won this and the Villa game.

 

The bloody agony of it all....samba goes up front and not one decent cross into the box...you need to get beyond the first defender...

 

I am the enternal optomist but I'm afraid it's now game over,
Our 1st half performance tonight, our 2nd half performance v Villa, Adels' penalty miss v Norwich has cost us 8 points and safety (that doesn't include all the points we lost during Clueless's reign).
I hope I'm wrong but I think we've gotta take 1 step backrebuild and come back better and stronger, we will be back
