Lovely run and return from Home Farm. Less than impressed with the ride Pass the Hat got.Clearly should havle won although 20f is more his trip and the ground did dry up for him. GL with Qpr STick....im off to San Mames in 80 mins for our biggest game of the season so far. .
QPR would have to finish the season like a team challenging for top 4 if they are going to survive, I can't see it myself. Fulham look a half decent bet at Evens, as they are very strong at home. Because QPR have a strong team on paper, the bookies always seem to give them to much respect, when there side is no better than Readings hence being on the same number of points. Fulham would no doubt be 1/2 if they were at home to Reading. QPR at 3/1 is a laughable price, you would have to be mad to take that price, they should be atleast double that price
Shergar, if the league had started when Redknapp took over we would be 9th! The Villa reverse, when we should have been 4 up by halftime, aside, we are one of the form teams in the league. Fulham have been on a good run too recently but surely they wont be wanting this as much as us?!?!
I don't know the stats like you do Stick, but I'm pretty sure that your no closer to safety, than you were when Redknapp took over. You were about 7 points behind safety, and your still about that going into tonight's game. Good luck if you do bet on your side tonight, as nothing less than a victory will do. It would make things very interesting if your lot could put together a late charge, as its so tight above you that any number of teams could be dragged into it. I personally would like to see Sunderland dragged into it, after the way there fans celebrated when we lost the title there, despite beating them last season
I think on paper QPR's squad is much stronger than Readings it's just that old cliche the best players don't always make the best team and I think QPR haven't functioned well as a team but in terms of quality QPR and Fulham are pretty evenly matched it's just Fulham work better as a team. It's always hard to beat a team fighting for survival so I can see QPR win this 1 .
QPRs team is basically a group of big name mercenary's, who have just gone there for a big pay day. Alot of them are nearing the end of there careers, and just want to get as much cash in the bank as possible. Most of them couldn't give a toss if QPR go down
I am interested to get to the bottom of that comment Shergs. Tell me which are the big name mercenarys. The only one I will give you is Bosingwa! Queens Park Rangers 33 Julio Cesar 03 Traore 05 Samba 06 Hill 19 Bosingwa 10 Taarabt 16 Jenas 29 Townsend 40 M'bia 18 Remy 25 Zamora
That Remy look's useful given the right service. Tea and a nice double decker bar now chill out and see how this game unravels. I'll guess at 2-1 QPR
Bosingwa, SWP, Granero, Zamora, Samba, Remy, Cesar, Park and there are probably a few others I've missed out. Alot of your players have gone to you for the wrong reasons, and when you get a squad of players like that, your asking for trouble. I'm not saying they all don't care, but your better off having a less talented team that give's 100% each game, than a group of players that have played for bigger sides, and therefore there heart isn't fully in it
You are talking out of your arse and thats typical of supporters of other teams toward us. Remy has only had a handful of games and has brilliant while Zamora has been playing whilst injured for several weeks now........hardly a mercenary!
So was Harry Redknapp 'talking out of his arse' when he pretty much said the exact same when he joined you. I'm not saying everyone of your big money players, isn't playing to there full potential, Remy being an exception, but most of them aren't. Remy still only joined you for the money, he was all set to join Newcastle, before you guys offered him £80000 a week wages. Your team has a far bigger wage bill, and has spent far more on players than all the sides around them. From what you spend you should be a top 10 side. The reason you aren't is because these players aren't giving there all for the cause
Shergs, in the first 30 minutes there you saw what its like. Everything that can go wrong does. Even Clint Hill (definitely not a merc) trying his heart out manages to turn one into his own net. That is the worst I have seen us play under Redknapp. I dont see how you can say that players like Samba and Remy wont care......of course they care, if we get relegated they still have to make a living somewhere! Would you want to go to Newcastle.........willingly???? Come on now LOL
