I posted a thread after the derby game saying to keep our heads up. Now its all over, I'll keep going to AG show my support to the boys but its all done and dusted now. League 1 is where we are heading. I'll be glad to move to Australia so I don't have to watch that dross every week, But I will miss it like crazy at the same time. Sorry lads even though there are 18 points to play for we wont even get 8. They can knock us down but we'll get back up stronger. BUT DONT WORRY CHAMPIONSHIP please log in to view this image
Posted this on OTIB, we won't come back up next season. We will this time next year be challenging for a play off place but we won't come up. We can talk about Southampton and Norwich but Southampton didn't do it the first season I know they had points deduction. Leeds went down and took a few years. And then you have Leicester but the one thing all those clubs ave in common is 20k regular gates. With FFP making it even more difficult. You will probably be back in time for our promotion season mate, you might even be able to take your kids
I may be wrong (usually am) did it take you 7,8 or 9 seasons to gain promo last time?If so with all the financial constraints in L1 coupled with a complete rebuild of the side when contract are not renewed or players wish to move on elsewhere if you end up mid table in the 1st year surely that would be a bonus. Dont expect to much until you see the finished product O Driscoll has built for league 1. COR
Have you noticed, 2 of the 4 last threads are written by "gasheads", they are gasping to stick the knife in and then brag about it in their own dictatorship and verbally toss each other off, remember these name who come over creaming up to us and then creep back to their own division 4 holes, we deserve all the piss taking they can hand out but rest assured our turn will come again, as sure as night follows day.. ROD is correct our shocking demise is the "gasheads" aspiration, I intend carrying on as I always have, after all it's Bristol City FC I support, good or bad, that will never change...
I will still get my season ticket next year, I'm not ****ing over SoD like a lot to me people keep telling me about this free flowing football I still have not seen it apart from the time Donny beat us 5-2 but the other times I saw Donny I saw an organised team but to me we are too organised with players too scared to step out of their duties and take the bull by the horns. Here we go someone said something nasty about SoD so I'm going to get it now
very honest of you... in return i have no doubts that you are right at the end as well. this has always been the case and will always be the case
We're both **** so we will always be on a roller-coaster and for most of our lives we will only ever experience going down it, But whilst you're going up you appreciate it more than any plastic man u or man city fans do, A win actually means something.
So, we will be the only team affected by FFP then...? All of the other clubs in League One (if we go there) will have to cut their cloth to suit and we will be one of the better equipped outfits. Plus of course, you are completely ignoring the impact that this will have on your team as well - didn't think of that one did you clever clogs...?
league 2 have slightly different rules which we are already accustomed to. if we go up next season then we will have to adjust but not have to adjust as much as yourselves. there again the £14million debt you have wont be as bad as it hasnt taken into account of the players you have already lost like david james wages. so you will be in a better position but im guessing still need to make more cuts though.
