Dai, how about posting some information on players that we are also rumoured to be linked with? Surely you have heard something with your connections at board level?
I'd much prefer this version bony With the likes of Tate and Gower there is a possibility they could move on, but that’s the same every season,” Swansea assistant manager Alan Curtis said to talkSPORT.
Fill in the gaps to read anything you want to read .silly season is shortly upon us but it may have started early
Q. Whats the point in playing the last seven games? A. We'll find out how good a team/club we really are We have exceeded our objectives by winning the League Cup and should be safe in the League with 40 points. But as David Platt said when asked about Man Citys failing title challenge. "We are a professional football club and its our business to win football games". We have to have that attitude - it is not good enough to sit back and leave the season slide away.
The players may have the early season finish attitude but I doubt very much if thats a view shared by the manager .if it is then theyneed to have a good look at them selves . whimpering over the finishing line isn't good enough and a run of defeats sometimes is a bad habit to break .
we need to play the last 7 game as at the moment we are in relegation form and ending the season on a low. We need to finish on a high because we know some of our players will be moving on and if we finish with a whimper then that leaves us with a poor team that laudrup will have little clue who will be good enough for next season. we have not played well in the premiership in the last 10 games to the standard we played at the beginning of the season. the passing has not been the best for a long time and our finishing has not been what it was....I would warn the players if i was laudrup that they had better start performing or they may not make the squad for next season......there is so much to play for....their careers....
It is also a test of ML's managerial skills. There are players who are out of form but continue to play in the first team. If this continues the morale of the team will dip. It is up to Sir Michael to pick the best team on form, not on paper. ML will face a tougher test in the last seven games than we did in the first 31. Having said that I thought we played well for most of the game against a very good Spurs side - but at the end of the day its points that win prizes.
If I was ML Dai then I would have a couple on the list that I would get rid of already as some have been performing with 'big time charlie' attitudes in recent games. That sort of attitude is not needed at our club, and could be a blessing in disguise as ML will surely be able to identify those with the wrong attitude for our club.
