Looking at the fixtures, if this scenario happens, the next 2 games after them are Ipswich and Wolves away. We could be promoted at Molineux on 16th April then... Meaning the home game with Bristol on 19th April could be the possible start of celebrations. I don't believe this will definitely happen anyway. I don't even fully believe we'll get all 3 points against Watford... EDIT: Turns out the Bristol game is now on the Friday night before as it is on TV.
We've never been closer to automatic promotion in to the top division with just 7 games to go since 1904 so allow the Tiger tail a great big stonk on and let Watford have it like its 2008, come on City!
More like the meeting between the two clubs at the KC last year. Hopefully with the same result. Koren's strike was sublime.
Watford could very well determine the Champions this season. A loss tomorrow and a win at the weekend for them would do nicely.
Does anyone truly care about winning the title? We get a bit of silverware to lift if we come second anyways. I'd prefer Cardiff to win on Saturday than Watford. I'd like to see the celebrations (if we finish 2nd) on the final day - there would have to be two trophy presentations!
Oh god can't you just let us enjoy the moment. I doubt that anyone is overly confident but there is no point in being glum.
I don't think 2nd wins a trophy; even though the play-off winners do. I'd love to win the title, but I still definitely don't want Watford to beat Cardiff because automatic promotion is a million times more important.
If Cardiff win the league you can have the trophy for all I care. QPR went up as champions while play off winners Stoke and Swansea are doing ok. The only important thing is securing an auto spot then if you have that you may as well try to win it. jck
Stoke actually finished second. We won the playoffs that year. But what you're saying is right. Winning a league would be a great feeling but it isn't the important thing. After this year it makes no difference.
:You can talk about players not handling the pressure I am not going tomorrow night, I'm telling everyone I can't handle the cold but really its the pressure I wouldn't be able to handle, especially if it its 1-0 to us with a few minutes to go. You'd have to dial 999.
I hope this may help you Charles, but every time i go for a piss at the KC i seem to be right in front of that poster for Tena Man, Its worrying!! Just a thought..
