Steve McLaren would be a fantastic appointment for you, after all, he would be a major improvement on what you already have.
I agree I think his time is up Had the owners got rid of him after the Wednesday game I would have lost faith in the owners but now if they changed it now I would understand the owners decision. It wouldnt be the decision I would make but I wouldnt blame the owners if they did
We would all love him back for obvious reason but he has nothing to gain here. As you found out last season with Kenny Dalglish. Returns dont always go to plan
A cardboard cut out would be a huge improvement on what they have now. Talking of cardboard cut outs Michael Appleton is available!
@OfficialFOXES NP: "Well off the mark today. Worked hard this season to get into a good position and we've put ourselves under pressure in last 2months." @OfficialFOXES NP: "We look fragile at the moment and missed Wes Morgan more than I hoped. Got to rectify it. Not prepared to see season put at risk." @OfficialFOXES NP: "Totally understand fans' frustration, especially given the support we get home and away. We now must get back to doing basics better."
When i heard MON getting the sack the other day , my first thought was your owners would be stroking their chin wondering if he could turn around your clubs form .
I would love things to work out with NP, but obviously the way things are going, it is not looking likely. Not sure MON would come back to us, though would absolutely love that. Would also be very happy with Di Matteo, but let's be honest, that's not going to happen! Not sure about Brian McDermott, only ever been the manager of one club, and that was a club he had been at for years and knew inside out, and how to get the best out of players. No idea how he'd do with a clean slate...
My worry with McDermott is that he is a one club man. He wont be able to achieve what he did at Reading anywhere else
... it's one in eleven ed - that's far worse than Sousa or Sven at the time they were sacked - I will be very surprised if he is still in post for the next game ... I just hope Martin O'Neil fancies getting back in the game very quickly!
