He's not running for political office, he's managing a football club, his politics are his own.

Whenever I see Roy Keane punditing on ITV, I think of his cold-blooded challenge on Alf Inge Haaland.

It seems in football that morality and ethics are transient, especially in the media.

I personally think he's going to relish this opportunity that's been given to him, and won't have time to even think about any personal views from the past. He loves his footy !

What is your feeling on Islamic fascists stopping other religions building places of worship in Saudi Arabia, Iran and other places?
What would, you think of someone who objected to a manager because he was a communist, Trotskyist or Marxist and worried he might pass on their warped ives to the players. Laugh at them as much as I laugh at some soft sod who is worried about a fascist manager doing the same?

Just as I thought that attendance at the Huddersfield game was a physical demonstration of not brooking authority imposing unreasonable sanctions, ignoring the imposition and carrying on your legal activity whilst lobbying and demonstrating your objections – that is good, sensible democratic protest at work.
Milliband resigning is also good democratic protest at work. DiCanio is a fascist, he has proudly and publicly embraced it and I have never seen that he has retracted any of his belief. Whether or not a football club deigns to employ him is for their collective conscience. I am happy to say that I have a number of mates who will not now attend and visibly support the team. In this case, as the matter is about the internal affairs of the club a boycott is very relevant.
It is difficult to keep politics out of sport and that is a pity, but to distance fascist views and the adoration of Musselini from racism and the management of a football club who advocates 'Kick It Out' is simply crass and missing the point.

As I asked above, would you object to them employing a communist, a creed which has caused more deaths and suffering than fascism?

Ooooh poor Paolo - I'm distraught that he's so upset.

Actually I'm not - my dad fought the fascists in Italy in WW2 and I don't think they've got any prettier since then.

How would people feel about a German manager who said - 'Well you know that Hitler - he was misunderstood blah blah'

    Can't see any difference myself

My dad was in Italy in the war as well. Can't have been too distraught at the thought of Fascist tendencies in Italy as he went to Italy many times on holiday. Germany as well.

Yes, if that communist had not moved with the modern doctrine and openly idolized a homicidal monster from the past. I hope that answers your question.
I cannot understand why this political thread is allowed to thrive.

I'm guessing that as the thread has sunk to imaginary scenarios like the kids on Outnumbered consider, like who would win in a fight between a penguin and a dodo, I guess it's all out of the system.
