After today we will have a better idea of our fate.

A win today and results going in our favour and we could still be bottom but we could be 3 points of safety. However a defeat today and it could leave us 9 points from safety with teams like Barnsley with games in hand as well.

If we are 9 points behind I think the gap would be too great to catch even with 18 points left after today to play for as all teh teams in teh bottom half of the league have been in form apart from us. The honeymoon period is firmly over.

So as far as I see it SOD needs to go out fighting today. We cant afford to sit back and defend for 89 minutes and then try and nick a goal at the end. A draw is no good either and with our current goal difference we need a good win.

SOD target was 10 wins from the 20 remaining games when he took over so target of 50% of remaining points.

So far he has managed 13 games and out of the 39 points up for grabs he has taken 17 points (43%). There are 21 points to go including today so 43% of that is 9 points which will not be enough so we need to hope our form increases.

It is the biggest game of our season, We have to win simple as that, As you say a draw is no good. No win today and we are down.

I did put 1-1 in my prediction but changed it for a city win. I do agree with you though a draw will be the likely outcome

We got the manager, we ain't got the players here.
Simply put we could have put a team off fans that would have tried better at Derby.
Useless every one of em, if they play today like they did Friday I hope the get it big time from the crowd.

Today is my first criticism of SOD.

From Minute 1 they sat back (like we have against others at home) and all we did was hit 60 yard balls from out of the sky.
Straight at 3 Giants and all we played for was 2nd balls. Second half I thought he's bound to change it. He didn't.
We could have gone 3 at the back at h/t, took off Fonts (another cock up) and bring on Adomah wide right and moved Baldock inside.
When he did Adomah was wrong side and useless because losing Kelly lost a degree of control in midfield.

Sheff Wed are about as bad a side as I've seen this season.

Don't be so stupid he brought on Killkenny, a far superior player <doh>

I was watching Kelly today and sometimes he even drops back to right back, he don't always win tackles but he makes it difficult to play against.

Kilkenny wants the ball too much which can be a good thing but he wants to play that difficult pass to make the crowd talk about it! Kelly just moves it on quickly, two different players and we all know which one I prefer.

My head went down when I seen number 10 to be subbed. Only for Kilkenny to be brought on, Of which he didn't do nothing

The difference between the two teams today?

    From my viewpoint listening as always to Radio Bristol;

Fontaine with one big giant gaff again.

Llera who won everything in his own box and also caused problems in our box.

We've been repeating ourselves all season about where our real problem lies and nothing is done about it (him).

I think he knows the players are not good enough as a unit, personally think it is a bit of kidology trying to get the best out of them.
