Lansdown to walk away from City end of this season - BBC reports

    The BBC is reporting that Steve Lansdown is set to leave City if they are relegated at the end of this season due to wanting to take a new challenge making Bristol womens team the number 1 in the UK. Another reason that Lansdown states he will leave at the end of the season is due to the major concern over the clubs finances. Lansdown said "I have spent in the region of over £40 million in recent seasons to help push City to the top league and now we look like we are going the other way". Lansdown added he will settle the clubs debts before leaving to allow a new man to come in and start fresh.
