What a great idea Jose, buy Bale to get him out of the way, then come back over to Chelsea and take us to the top
Come on, DL! The fact that you are reporting such garbage is the wum-attempt. Or do you really believe that Levy has completely and utterly capitulated on the stance that he has consistently taken, regarding Bale? That is clearly a joke-story, perhaps even an April's Fool story.
That's the whole point, isn't it! Either the story is real (no, don't laugh), and Mourhino is staying a Real, which means the "Mourhino to CFC" stories are pure fantasy, or (as we all suspect) the story is the laughable creation of some bitter and twisted Real-supporting hack journo, and the "Mourhino to CFC" stories have substance. Which do you Chelsea boys think it is?
That's the way I feel, pretty much. Bale, like Ronaldo will feel he has one big move in him and will want to make the right one so he'll be in no rush. There's too much doubt over the longevity and competance of the money clubs like City, PSG, etc so I feel that rules them out. Of the rest Real with Ronaldo would be the perfect combination for him but with doubt over Ronaldo's future I don't think he'll be in a rush to make his big move anywhere. The importance of CL football is over done, it would help us with getting Bale on a new contract to ensure we weren't pressured into selling him but that's about it. When Bale wants to leave we'll start talking with clubs and when we get a suitable offer from a club he wants to go to he'll leave but when that will be is anyone's guess. As for the suggestion from DL that we may need to sell to fund our stadium, it simply holds no water. We don't have as great of a need for a new stadium without CL football so there's no rush on it and the delays are caused by not being able to generate as much funding as we want through different deals with companies. The reason we can't get the deals at the moment is that our club need a higher profile worldwide and selling Bale because we've missed out on the CL would be following missing out on one key part of raising our club's profile by selling our other key part of raising the side's stock by selling our only player who's a genuine international star and as a result very marketable both for us and for sponsors.
I don't believe Bale will go. Spurs are a big enough platform for him to show his ability. I'm just reporting what was said in Spanish press. Don't shoot the messenger
Nah, once that wide boy spiv, Levy gets the scent of Wonga he will auction the chimp faced Welsh twat to the highest bidder just like Berba & Modders.
Elvis was seen in Milan........he must be lost as we all know he will be the next manager of Carlisle Utd
Bale won't come to you Ever, when he leaves, which won't be for a while yet imo,he will go to Spain,as we have link's with Real,so they will have first refusal
could be if Bale goes, but it could end up the other way round, fact is we have players Real and other team's want,Pretty sure Bale won't go anywhere for a few season,s the way he's talking in the press.he does'nt need to with Spurs on the up.
but it's not about where you, I or anyone else wants to go, it's about where Bale wants to go and if he wants to stay in England whilst winning major honours then United is a very realistic option. Some of you Spurs fans act very naive when it comes to transfers, if a player wants to go to a particular club, more often than not he will go there. It's happened with you lot before.
Bale's going nowhere. I've been saying that for at least the past three seasons. One day, some of the brighter ones among you will actually start to listen to me.
I predicted Coco would get the sack from 'Pool (when most others were saying he'd stay). I was right. I've predicted, these past three seasons, that 'Pool wouldn't get top 4. I was right. I predicted that Kenny-Boy would get the sack. I was right. The the past three seasons I've predicted that Bale will remain at Spurs. I have been right. These are merely a few of my gems. The fact is, that I am more right than I am wrong. Where I have been "wrong" is merely where my hopes (as opposed to "predictions") have failed. We all hope that our team will compete at the very top; to express that hope is not a prediction. It is my hope, every season, that we finish above Arsenal; when we have failed to do so, that is not a failed prediction on my part. Bale is staying at Spurs for at least another three (possibly four) seasons.
I love how you just guess with nothing to back it up. 3 to 4 years? where do you get that number from? Lets get it right you don't have a clue when Bale will go and neither does anyone here. It's purely a guessing game. You love to think that Bale is so loyal but he IS an Arsenal fan, he will drop your lot in a heartbeat for Real or Man United given the chance unless he is a complete moron. It's a choice of trophies/glory/more money if he goes or the same money and no trophies if he stays, easy choice.
you really want me to reel off the things you've been wrong about? The only ones who didn't predict the ones you've said are probably Liverpool fans with exception to the Bale one.
Yes, that's why I've called it a "prediction." It's an educated guess, based on the following. A. Cliff Jones (Welshman, and part of the Spurs double-winning squad of '61/'62, and who speaks to Bale on a regular basis), in a radio interview last season, stated, with some confidence that Bale would not be leaving Spurs any time soon. In the Summer, the tabloid gutter-press (and bitter rival fans) were besides themselves with speculation as to which club Bale would be joining. He stayed. B. In a recent interview, the same Cliff Jones stated, with equal confidence, that Bale had no intention of leaving Spurs for several seasons, yet. C. In countless interviews, Bale has consistently made it clear that he sees his future at Spurs. Now, please, would all you bitter rival fans give this subject a rest. I get tired of having to trot out all of this stuff. Just accept that Bale is Spurs through-and-through, and that he will remain so for quite some considerable time. Thank you.
