i thought we were supposed to be the top dogs on the deluded front ,but on another thread(guess where) decanio and clough are being comparred ?
O'Neill was still trying to play like Clough. Di Canio is a loathsome individual, a bell end of the highest order. I like his management/playing style though. Somehow I think it is a little early for Clough comparisons though!
Have you not been following us mate! We needed something to change. Whether that was for Di Canio to come in remains to be seen but he literally can't do worse than Martin.
Being honest, I look at your team, and if you take out Mignolet, Rose and Sess, it's a championship quality side. I think both North-east teams have a problem with relying on too few quality players, and some overpriced dross, but Sunderland have an extraordinary amount of slow, tactically defunct, technically bereft patsies. I don't see them improving, whether they're asked to play the ball on the floor more or not. I fear Martin's right to play negative s**** with a s**** team, and that opening them up will lead to many a morale sapping spanking. At least Martin didn't play long-ball with the smallest midfielders in the premier league (Anita, Tiote, Cabaye). THAT is terrible tactics. Not playing a raw Wickham or a panic-buy Graham might prove shrewd operating! We shall see, I very much hope I'm wrong. If this turns out badly, I can see some serious waves between Sunderland fans and their club!
its now going to be feck off Africa/arabs/jews/gypsies, they have a choice of several shirts now, very clever might up there income
Takes one to know one. I know you are but what am I? I am rubber and you are glue... Hope you all have spent Easter well with your families.
